Move this to the D&D if need be, but this is disgusting... http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/World-News/Video---Egypt-Teacher-Beats-Children-And-Blames-Revolution-After-Being-Arrested-By-Police/Article/201105416000577?lpos=World_News_First_Home_Article_Teaser_Region_1&lid=ARTICLE_16000577_Video_-_Egypt%3A_Teacher_Beats_Children_And_Blames_Revolution_After_Being_Arrested_By_Police
Look at it this way, would you rather have the teacher beat the student out of discipline/respect or have sexual intercourse???? You decide which is better...
That's graphic??? I've seen baby seals gettin it a lot worse according to Clyde Drexler, hahahhaha.... Graphic my ass!!!
Ethics vary from culture to culture. If the parents of these kids are okay with it then who are we to tell them that this is wrong? In our culture we readily put up babies for adoption or abortion, many cultures in the world would be appalled by that but yet here in America that is a viable option. Even in America some of the ethical choices are debated such as what I just mentioned about abortion. I'm not pro corporal punishment because I think it's a slippery slope and people can go too far. However, I do recognize that many people in America still do believe in it and practice it.
this has been happening for years and years in the middle east and i'm sure many other countries outside of the US. doesn't make it right at all but unfortunately not surprised by what i'm seeing.
I was expecting a million times worse. I went to Second Baptist middle and upper school in Houston. If parents gave permission, the principle would destroy the students with a paddle.

The difference is that kids at your school were most likely getting paddled for acting up. This guy is beating kids for not doing their homework correctly.
How was that graphic? Make better grades next time kids. Not sure how one slap (maybe two) with a ruler on a student's hand is that bad.
Wait, this was for not doing their homework correctly? Maybe the padding was wrong for that (should be used for acting up).
