Heck, everybody is making polls. And this offseason is going to be the least fun already. Here it is: With the Lakers hiring Mike Brown and the Rockets getting Kevin McHale, which team do you think made the better decision?
Not to sound like a homer or anything, but I feel the Rockets made the better decision of McHale being a player's coach and getting positive feedback from his former players. Also, Mike Brown only has a great track record because of Lebron James. He was the guy who just sat back at times and let John Kuester draw up plays.
not to be too mean but By all accounts . . it seems we want McHale to sit back and let Finch draw up plays??? and we don't have a LeBron Rocket River
The Rockets could've hired a r****ded 12 year old and I still would've picked them. The Lakers hiring Mike Brown when they could've literally gotten ANY available coach considering they have the fact they just won 3 championships in a row, Kobe Bryant, and being in LA, and settled for Mike Brown is nothing short of idiotic.
We would then have a guaranteed top-5 draft pick every season if the lottery works like David Kahn thinks it does... even in drafts where we made the playoffs!
That would have been a nice move. Morey could control the coach completely and Finch could draw up the plays.
Lakers won 57 Games Rockets won 43 games. Predict their wins next year. I think that will make the different in determining who made the worse mistake. I think the Lakers will probably go back to 50~51 games. I think the Rockets will be 35~40 games. So . . .since I think the Lakers will lose more games [meaning the difference between this year and last year . ..] I will have to Vote for McHale and the Rockets. Rocket River
See, this is a failure in marketing. You should have clearly stated your thread was Brown/Lakers vs. McHale/Rockets in your title. Thread would've exploded.
