'Keeps everybody involved' jumped out at me. Seems like a bitter dig at Jordan.

I knew someone was going to bring that up, especially a true and blue Rockets fan.

It is a valid point, though.

Lebron won alot of games with a very average supporting cast in Cleveland.

I think it is reasonable to say he would have 3 to 6 titles by now, if he were drafted by a top flight organization, like the Lakers; Spurs; or Mavs.

    Easily.

Besides, who has won titles, playing in Cleveland anyway.

I dont think what he said was that controversial. I hate Quitten as much as anyone else, but I think you'd have to be willing to admit that its not some crazy notion anymore. Lebron is a freakish athlete beyond anything this league has seen before- his combination of size, speed, strength, passing ability, jumpshot, etc. He's the total package.

He's already gone to the finals with a horrendous roster, and has dominated so many playoff games single handedly. The only thing that will take some of the luster off his legacy will be winning championships with the 'triplets,' but even that will probably be forgiven if they win 6 or more titles.

IMHO-Lebron's challenge is not championships or talent, its image. Once he learns how to improve that, almost everyone will be rejoicing in his success and giving him his due.

Pippen said "LeBron may be the greatest player of all time" ... I think he meant that for when LeBron's career is over and we're looking back at it. If his career ended right now, of course no one would put LeBron at the top of the list including Pippen.

Wade won a ring already w/o Lebron.

When they lose in the finals this year, we can take out the shovel and put Scottie's blasphemy to rest.

When Lebron wins 6 championships come back to me...
When Lebron wins 5 MVP awards come back to me...
When Lebron wins 6 Finals MVPs come back to me...
When Lebron wins DPOY come back to me...

When Lebron enters the slam dunk competition...wake me up, I want to see that!

I was really feelin LeBron until I remembered what Larry Bird did in the 86 postseason (against Jordan, Nique and the original Twin Towers). 26 pts, 9 boards, 8 dimes, 2 steals on 52%, 41% (treys) and 93% (freebies). Forget MJ...can Bron top Bird for best SF ever?

Discounting titles (which are a poor indicator of individual skill anyway), Pippen is probably right.

LeBron is a freak. Damn near tall enough to play center, quick enough to run the point, can guard damn near anybody, and his offense is tops and only getting better.

If you gave me one guy to start a team with, all time... I'm taking Bron Bron.

MJ was MJ, but in terms of being a basketball player... size, athleticism and skill... LeBron has no equal.

Pippen is underrating the guy he used to play next too.

Jordan was ridiculous......LeBron is the best player in the game right now, but in my opinion its really not much of a discussion as to whether he even deserves to be in a serious discussion with the likes of MJ.

Jordan's stats are pretty much better across the board....and it was alot harder to score in the NBA back then imho

IF Lebron won as many rings as Robert Horry than he will be better than Jordan.

Right now he is only better than Yao Ming as ringless superstars!
