VERSUS IMO they play a similar game. Alot of twisting and turning downlow Decent Jumper Kind of Gritty. Could 2010 Scola take 1986 McHale? Rocket River It's the summer. . .people suppose to post crazy threads. . .
McHale was an All-NBA Defender, and a master in the low post with a repertoire on par with Hakeem Olajuwon's. I'd like to see the look on his face if a reporter asks him this question.
you're joking, right? McHale's on the 50 Greatest list. How much of Kevin McHale did you actually see play?
In 1986 game was less polished than today, no matter if it was prettier to watch I don“t know why nobody takes this into account for the analysis.
Mchale for sure. But I also think if "they" allowed more contact, like what "they" allowed in the Heat vs Bulls series, Scola would be an OK defender. People forget that scola can take the contact on the offensive end and still get his points.
In one of the Kmac thread I said Scola's post moves are almost identical to McHale's and he could benefit from him being the head coach. 2010 Scola might be stronger than McHale back in the days but Kmac is taller with longer arms. Don't it would be close, Meh...
How is this poll not 100% McHale HAHAHAHA. Love the Argentine Dream but c'mon...Kevin is a top 50 player of ALL-TIME and one of the great PF in history.
Scola is possibly top 2 in the league today in terms of post moves and footwork. But McHale is top 2 of all time.
