My son and his wife love Cane's, my wife and I don't. To us, it's nothing special and kind of bland.

    I agree.

The RC's here in Vegas don't serve bbq sauce (which I prefer with my chicken strips)...all they have is salad dressing sauce? (which I'm not fond of at all). So I ended up eating mine, sauceless, and they were extremely bland. Gotta bring my own sauce and give them a second shot.

Come out of hiding? I've been on this forum for over a decade. I haven't been hiding, to my knowledge. Whether or not I want to respond to you is another matter. Lol.

You seem to be obsessed with age. Are you that insecure about aging. First, you think 53 is a senior citizen, but, then again, you also think you can pass for 300 yards against a prevent defense. Let me explain a few things about getting older.

I have been fortunate enough to be happily married for 30+ years. I have seen both my kids graduate from college. I have seen my son get accepted into law school, even though he has a writing degree from a liberal arts college. He took the LSAT without any preparation and not only got accepted, he received a partial scholarship.

I have 3 grandchildren, which brings me more joy than you can imagine.

I have worked long enough that I enjoy many perks. In less than one year I will have vacationed in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Texas (twice), Florida, Rio de Janeiro, San Jose, Hawaii, Chicago and France. Next year, we go to Africa for 3 weeks.

Of course, there is another side to getting older. In the past 18 months, I have watched my father in law battle cancer and see the toll it has taken on him, my wife and mother in law. I have also seen their unmitigated joy upon learning he is cancer free.

I have watched friends and relatives battle disease and oftentimes, lose.

Less than a year ago, my father passed away and I have to see my mom suffer the depression and loneliness that comes with losing someone you have lived and loved for 55+ years, but I also see her light up when her great grand children are around and she can see my father in them.

You may seem to have a problem with 'old' people, but I wouldn't trade places with someone your age for anything in the world.

Now I feel bad for makin you tell your life story.... Im glad youre blessed enough to share your heartfelt sentiments....Still doesnt change the perception I have of you on this board...But I'll try not to make you break down again...Man how did a couple of jokes and a discussion of chicken get you to become so sensitive???....I think I should be banned from this forum for exactly 4 months..(going to a couples retreat in a week)...But when I get back, I'll make sure to make amends ....Be well friend...be well!!!!

Dr. of Drunk, you have now turned my underlying attention to you...You shall be the butt(bring pampers) of my jokes everytime you post...So do yourself a favor, and just hit the repeat button every time you deduct one of my "precious" points....Because he abuseth power shall be veerbally abused... BoBrek I hope we can remain honorable and respectful constituents through this trying ordeal...But your boy has crossed the perverbual line!!!

Not at all... Most of the points I've gotten is from makin fun of "people such as yourself".... I'm anxious to see how many points I can get from "verbally assaulting" you...Of course youre gonna just get them deducted through your lil regime...So its kinda of an uphill battle!!!!.......But I'll take the challenge!!!

Yeah, something about "old chicken" versus "young chicken." I rather have some good brisket, to tell you the truth.
