I can't believe CXbby's hate me thread is so much more popular than this one. I guess putting "Feigen" in the title ruined it for you Carl Herrara. And tomorrow's announcement is going to be a thread that bypasses this thread, too. Now I see why your made that Dal/Mia thread 4 days early.

Get the threads in now, before the lockout.

I'm surprised at the poll results. I thought this board was majority Casey. What's up with the McHale love all of a sudden?

Who said anything about love? It is prediction, now, about who it will be.

But the poll asks "who are you rooting for?"

I think McHale will get it

    But I'm rooting for Casey

Like Morey, people are finally seeing Kevin McHale's true colors shining through.

I hope it's Casey. McHale would be so freakin' bizarre.

If they really want Finch, they should just hire the cat and lose this mumbo jumbo about McHale.

Indeed, just like using a first round pick on some inknown commodity called "Aaron Brooks" when you need a PF or hiring some chubby stat guy to be your GM.

They don't want Finch. They want McHale.

I agree. I can't imagine playing for a coach that I know will not be here in 2 years.

Hiring McHale would be genius. EDIT: So what if it's mad genius?

We've(okay maybe just me) already established how overrated coaching is, so really either of them is fine.

However McHale brings more to the table than his coaching ability. If he can get into the pocket of Ainge or Bird or the TWolves or whoever else he has in his pocket, and we actually pull off a deal with them, it will be worth way more than what any marginal coach can bring to the team.

You know how the Lakers got Gasol right? It sure as hell wasn't because they overwhelmed Mem with talent. Relationships. As bright of a guy as Morey is, this is what the team has been missing since CD. The ability to close deals because you are part of the jock club.

OK, explain in detail how this works. First off, do you really think McHale has Bird in his pocket? r e a l l y

But still, how does a coach talk to a GM about a trade.

How does that work. Surely Morey has to give his OK first, or McHale would get fired, right? So walk me through this...how does a coach of Morey engineer a trade with another GM....or is he just on the phone as a puppet with Morey's hand up the back of his shirt.

Just hire McHale and get it over with so that we can focus solely on the draft.

Yep, I agree. K-Mac is your typical insider hire, and I think Les-More are looking for a company man, and there's nothing wrong with that if your intention is to rebuild. But I also think Casey is in the mix and either of them could get the job depending on how willing they are to accept a small contract.

Is it "Less-More" or "More or Less"

Or More for less, which is what the owner was thinking when he hired DM.

    Leslie & Morey = LesMore
