    I don't want Asik.

I don't get the fascination with him.

Asik + Gibson and late 1st round pick for Kevin Martin and BRAD MILLER.

    Then I would consider it...

Truly believe they would trade Boozer before Asik or Gibson.

The Rockets already showed interest in Asik and it broke his leg. If we traded for him, he would drop dead.

This. Bad sign. We have already jinxed this man. I just wanna know who put the curse on the Rockets. I have a feeling it was Barkley who paid a voodoo witch to cast an injury spell on us.

I like Gibson and Asik is serviceable but Kevin Martin is worth more than that.

Asik does things that most people won't notice. They guy won't stuff the stat sheet but is a defensive monster as a rookie, he shut down a number of teams from penetrating the Bulls defense. Asik is EXACTLY what this team needs but giving up Martin is WAY to much.

    Hell no.

Gibson and Asik would not be nearly as good playing heavy minutes.

Because he is big, smart, hustles and plays hard.... but I do not think he would be nearly as effective playing heavy minutes.... so his long term value is actually limited.

...not sure Martin is the type of guy who would put Chicago over the top. They do need someone else who can create their own shot but given how important defense is to that team, I don't think Martin would help them as much as they need. Lee might actually be a better fit for that team even though he isn't the prolific scorer Martin is.
