Youngsters growing up watching Rose and D. Wade will be attempting the crossover all day on the basketball court. I, on other hand, tried to post up and shoot fadeaways.
Good stuff. Thanks for sharing. What makes Wade's crossover so unique in addition to it's sharpness is that if he gets past you, it's a vicious dunk instead of a layup. After all these years, Tim Hardaway's move is still in a special category. AI too, of course. I remember him telling the story of his Georgetown teammate several years ago.
I've seen these cross over clips hundreds of times in my lifetime, but I just can't seem to do it half as clean as theirs, and I do it probably at a fraction of their speed. Quite frustrating. But similar to what Mr. Clutch said, I too focus on jump shots and fade aways. Maybe because I grew up watching Jordan in his latter years where he does more jump shots than dunks.
