I'm not so convinced he footed the (entire) bill. Jessica Simpson allegedly purchased her own rock, knowing that the size was going to make the tabloids either way and she wanted to look good in the press.
After thinking about it clearly I'm sure most folks will come to the conclusion that no way he purchased the ring entirely. He may have paid a portion of it (from his reported 17 mill earnings), Kimmie K may have chipped in(so she can stay in the news with talk of a 2mill 20 carat ring), the E network probably chipped in a bit and the Jeweler probably added a bit of a discount(as long as the jeweler gets some publicity) and voila.
if i don't google this i don't even know who this guy is. maybe that's a problem with me, but i still doubt the first few lines of that blog should have put star and his name together
