Rooting for Dirk and Kidd to win a championship, but I cannot stand the Mavericks. Go Heat.
Props to OKC though. They had a great run (should not have choked these last two games). With more experience and a new coach, they'll be a force to be reckoned with next year. Their young players will only get better and if they get an offensive minded big, watch out.
I wish the Rockets could be in this position. :(

Been watching Brooks ever since he was elevated to head coach. He most definitely is part of the problem. He's not good on offense or defense and was exposed in the playoffs this year. I can go into detail if you want.

Good news for OKC is, even if they want to trade Westbrook. there are a lot of teams out there willing to provide a good package for them.

They might swap Paul with Westbrook assuming Paul doesn't want to stay with the Hornets anymore.

Or they could trade Westbrook to us for Lowry. Lowry is not near the offensive threat that Westbrook is, but he certainly has the mindset of playing into the system. He will synergize with Durant much better than Westbrook.

I wouldn't even think about that BUT a year from now, if this happens again, then I might consider it during a LOADED draft class.

They are soooooooooo young, I'd give this team another few years before making any harsh judgements.

Brooks should be faulted. Why the heck would you go small for 10+ minutes in the fourth quarter when Eric Maynor is doing jack**** for you, the paint has become a layup line, and they can't get a rebound when it counts?

People, agree or not, WB will get a max contract and Scott Brooks will be back. Guaranteed.

Westbrook is only 7 months older than Patrick Patterson. Perspective is needed.

It's all about results- Brooks took them to the WCF- further than anyone else in the western conference except for one other team.

    Yeah, but ... this guy has a real bad ... <dare I say> ... destructive personality.

His head is so enormously huge right now, it is impossible for him not to want to take over games.

The way he thinks is that "I" have to get better, rather than I have to make my teammates better.

So their is a legit concern in my mind that he even works on a team aspect time game. He sees himself as Michael.

I guess Durant should be lucky Westbrook is on his team because apparently after every OKC loss people want to direct all of the blame on Westbrook and none on Durant.

Durant had some very good words for Westbrook, and he looked very sincere as well, rightfully so. Media just wants controversy. This young team needs time and hard lessons like that. They will mature and come back stronger.

I am kind of fed up with all the fire on Westbrook. Sure, he's not Chris Paul or DW, but he's a very good guard with great talent. Every team would love to have him.
