Heat are NOT the lesser of the two evils.

If it is Miami v. Dallas, it is going to be a tough one to choose. Personality wise, I don't know whom I dislike the most, Cuban or Ledouche.

Setting that aside, I would have to choose Dallas. Dirk and Kidd have paid their dues and are deserving of a championship.

Rose, the Bulls and Thibs put up a gutsy performance and lost the game, not because they choked or got outcoached but rather because they simply lost to the better team, which had a huge advantage in the single most important thing in determining success in the nba - talent.

The Heat with Lebron, Wade and Bosh are just too good... with a contributing Miller and Haslem, they are close to unbeatable.

As a basketball fan, how could you not enjoy what you just saw? That was incredible basketball there at the end. So fun to watch. I'm not a Heat fan, but my team didn't make the playoffs so should I just sulk?

Noah never set a good enough screen to let Rose do anything. Plus Noah is such a moot point on offense that the fact that he can't even set a good solid screen makes him a massive liability.

In addition, someone mentioned it earlier, but the fact that they don't exploit Boozer-Rose PNR is a travesty.

I still think Haslem is the sole X-Factor that pushed Miami over the top. The rest of the Heat bench is a joke and Haslem really puts in decent minutes which helps Miami over the top.

I honestly have no idea. I would hope so but it is going to be hard to beat the Heat. Like I've continually said if you put two of the best three players in the league from any era on the same team with an all star it is going to be hard to beat them regardless of who else is on the court with them.

They sweep the Lakers (the two-time defending champs), they were not celebrating that crazy.

They go up 3-1 on the Thunder, they were not celebrating that crazy.

Cuban and Terry may be douches, but the organization as a hole is actually quite classy and composed. It is hard not to root for them in this finals. Not a bunch of coattail riding douchebags who act like they have won the championship after every game.

Considering all the crap I have to hear from Dallas fans about how much better they've been than the Rockets this past decade, and all I have in my favor is the 2-peat, I'd be more than happy for the Heat to take it.

The only man that I have ever seen stop Dirk consistently was a healthy 25 year old Tracy McGrady. I can't wait to see Lebron guard Dirk in the 4th quarters of these Finals games (assuming these series hold up). It's gonna be a fantastic matchup.

    Mavs are scary scary good

    but so are the Heat.

both teams draw a ton of fouls, so i don't see the refs losing it this time.

This is the only reason I think I'm going to root for Dallas. Don't mind if Miami wins championships down the road but winning right in their first season together will just leave a bad taste in my mouth.

You can eat broken glass, but that doesn't change the fact that Dallas isn't good enough to win against Miami.

Now I'm hoping that both series end in five so the Finals will start on Sunday.

Here is my thing. I would have been real mad if Jordan had teamed up with David Robinson and Larry Johnson back in the day. I'm ok when it happens through the draft but to structure a team with 2 of the best 3 players just seems ridiculous to me as a fan. I don't want to watch a team that was put together that didn't even involve draft strategy or clever trades.
