We're already 1/2 through the restarting process, might as well go further with this guy.

Well-conditioned is nice but does he have the skills to be a top big man? I.e what kind of ceiling are we talking here?

Obviously not a Blake Griffin/Dwight Howard type (sure-fire all-stars) and probably not a Cousins (very talented/skilled) but are we talking solid low-post back to the basket player who can play defense and maybe some day make an all-star team?

The Rockets are always interested in moving up in the draft. But what are they willing to give up to get it done?

NICE...the 4th pick sounds about right. Leonard is a solid NBA prospect swing man with a huge wingspan but Kanter has all the skills to be a legit NBA center within a few years. I don't know about moving Scola or Martin for Leonard but more then okay for Kanter.

If we are gonna get Kanter, we are gonna have to trade with the Jazz to leap frog the Cavs since they want him badly and would likely ask a lot to trade their pick. With the Jazz also holding the 12th pick they would have enough ammo including our picks to trade back in the 5 to 10 range to nab Knight.

Moving up the draft is hard to do. IMO, it will take a Martin to do the trick, a very costly move, giving what Martin could do to help team such as the Thunder and the Bulls.

Kawai is a 12-14 pick type of player. If Kanter's knee problems aren't a big factor, then it's worth trying to move up to get him. He can be a big PF who might be able to play some minutes at the 5.

Although i would hate to give up that 14th pick , we would have to because Kanter will not make it past #3, imo.

I say move up to 6 or 7....Kanter, Valanciunas, Vesely, or Kawhi should be there. I would take any one of those players.

    Oh hells yes...

Wait, a foreign unproven center, haven't we been down this road before? Eh, count me in.
