If you were a coach, which job opening would be more attractive? Houston or Golden State

Results are surprising to me. Currently 61% for Golden State.

Scroll to the middle of the page and look for "Poll":

I don't think they have a link directly to the poll so if they change their home page I'm not sure how to get to the poll. Check it out while it's there.

And even if it IS Oakland, you got the Bay Area as opposed to Pasadena/LaPorte.

Plus, Golden State fans are pretty solid. Houston? Weeelllllllllll............ Let's just say, one block of fans might be more likely to vote than another.

Plus, our team still have the stench of bad luck about it.

Golden state has a better core of young players, but they are perennial losers. 50/50

Just because we demand more out of our teams doesn't make Houston fans worse. We have a higher standard.

Attribute it to a biased, high population density along the West coast. Plus, people from places like New York and California think Texas is a ****hole and politically backwards. Oh well, they just mad because they got the worst end of the recession. Their loss.

Or it could just be due to an inadequate number of votes accumulated thus far, ultimately leading to misrepresentative results. *shrug*

Why? Everybody probably thinks we're nuts for getting rid of Adelman, the TNT crew mocks us, and we pretty much have a team full of role players.

*EDIT* : Unless you're meaning you're surprised it's as high as 39%. lol.

Houston doesn't have any 'name' talent and they aren't from California(the most overrated state ever). Of course casual NBA fans are going to vote for them over us. It doesn't matter how much better the Rockets are than the Warriors.

Yeah, I'd think it would be lower.

If I was being unbiased I think it would be a tough decision, based on the front office(or lack there of in GS), but I'd probably go with the Warriors. We don't even have one piece of a championship caliber core, they have one, maybe two.

What I dont understand is that we are the fourth largest city in the country.

Now I understand that we may not have many fans across the states but there are over 6 million people in our metroplex, and we cant even win a poll against GS.

You cant blame the fans really cause look at what the city has brought us. Heart Ache! Texas, Astros, Rockets please We miss the good times!
