Am I to take from this thread that there are those who don't watch XXX stuff with their SO for mutual fun and pleasure? I had always assumed it to be a fairly widespread phenomenon. That's what I get for taking for granted that which I have never had personal knowledge of (allegedly). In my opinion, not that I really have a clue, mind you, the best are the classic films from the 1970's, when the genre flirted with general acceptance by the public, and films were being shown in some parts of the country in art houses that catered to the foreign film crowd (I was part of that "crowd"), and on many campuses, in cities including Houston, Texas.

Films like Behind the Green Door (1972), (which someone who resembled me saw on a campus), with the former "Ivory Soap Girl" Marilyn Chambers, Bella (1974) (I swear, or would had I seen it, that parts of this look like it was filmed in the neighborhoods around Rice University), The Autobiography of a Flea (1976), with an all star cast, including John Holmes in one of his best roles (someone who saw it gave it a very high rating), The Private Afternoons of Pamela Mann (1974), Naked Came the Stranger (1975) (these last two are by the same director, using different names, and have the same beautiful star, Darby Lloyd Rains), and Debbie Does Dallas (1978) are a few from the period.

The 80's were reportedly more of a mixed bag, although some "classics" came out then and in the early '90's. Candida Royalle's Femme (1984) is a series of vignettes that have been said to be excellent. The films of Andrew Blake from that period are supposedly good. Films like Night Trips I (1989) & II, and House of Dreams (1990), to name a few. It's been reported that the films after the early 1990's are not worth looking at, in the main. I wouldn't know.
