It's funny how after game 1, people were flooding this thread talking about how great the bulls were, posting pics of Lebron crying, and celebrating. Now this thread has become a ghost town with random discussions about Scottie Pippen. LMAO!

 

Just like the Miami season thread, Heat lose 10 pages, Heat win 20 games in a row, 2 pages.
At least one thing is good, RealGm for once, due to the Bulls fans, is a pretty crazy place for a Heat Fan, a lot of "Mad Bulls Fans" right now, bans like crazy.
I think this sums it up.

People can say "New CBA" etc, but that will take 2-3 years to introduce, which will get Miami plenty of time to build a roster.

So I think people just need to sit back and relax, and enjoy the show the next 5 years.

Is Bosh really any better than Glen Rice? He was the third best player on that first championship team. Just before joining the Shaq/Kobe Lakers he was one of the premiere scorers/shooters in the league.

 

yes. bosh can defend, and bosh actually has more plays run for him.

glen rice at times was non-existent on both ends, and wouldn't even finish games.

 

And Rice was 33 and out of his prime unlike a 27 year old Bosh.

I really don't get the love and respect for Lebron. What is there to like about the guy besides being a good athlete. He is a front runner as a person. He is the dude at the park that refuses to call next but instead waits for the best team to lose a man so he can hop on. He's put himself in a pretty much can't lose situation yet he has chosen one on his back. You could replace him with about 5-10 players in this league and the Heat would be just as good or maybe even better. What is the point of winning when most superstar players would win in the same situation?

Shouldn't that be enough? MJ is the most loved basketball player of all-time and he was just as much of a douche as Lebron.

Really? He's put himself into a situation where anything short of a championship in any given season is a complete failure. If they lose in game 7 of the Finals this year, he failed. If they win the title this year, but only end up winning one, he failed. The pressure is on him every single year now. He doesn't have the excuses he had in Cleveland. That's the exact opposite of putting himself into a can't lose situation.

He's still the best player on his team. He leads them in everything. He's the go-to perimeter defender. I doubt he's as easily replaceable as you think. I also think he could trade places with any player in the league other than Dwight Howard and make his new team significantly better than they already are.

 

I didn't know we were comparing Kobe and Pippen. I thought we were comparing Wade and Pippen. Pippen didn't just put up good stats. He lost Jordan and almost took his team to the ECF. Wade hasn't been out of the first round in 4 years (before LeBron came). Pippen can score, is a better facilitator than Wade and is arguably the best defensive wing to walk the face of the earth. He was a great player.
