According to Synergy Sports, Durant averages an impressive 1.14 points per possession when he gets the ball in catch-and-shoot situations and .98 points per possession when he gets the ball coming off a screen, but he struggles when he’s forced to be a primary playmaker. Durant averaged .91 points per possession (37% shooting) in isolation, .87 PPP as the ball-handler in pick-and-rolls, and .84 PPP on post-ups.

great stat if I gave a damn!!!....This stat doesnt tell me anything about Durant's playoff performance...His shot isnt falling and he's not gettin the ticky tack foul calls this series...That pretty much is a better assessment than a 1.14 ppp mumbo jumbo

What an ignorant post all around. Do you go to the Miami heat practices, much less any NBA teams practices and film rooms to know they do work for or earn their victories. That statement is a slap in Boston's face as well as Chicago's. Those 3 guys took pay cuts to win. I would love to have 3 elite players on the Rockets but we didn't have to luck to draft D-Wade or have our beaches as nice as Miami.

Mavs have stayed low keyed? HAHAHAHAHA. Mark Cuban complains every round about the refs. Their fans are arrogant so no reason. If they won a championship they would think they rule the world.

I guess the people who are rooting for the Mavs do not a have many friends from Dallas.

great response. lebron's either weak because he wanted to defer, or he's egotistical because he wanted a championship. they're all over the place

my purpose of that stat is to show how mediocre of a 1-on-1 player he is.

No, trading Westbrook would be a smart thing to do, IMO. He is a Marbury clone and thinks he is a better player than Durant. It's time to ship him off and get a real PG...like Chris Paul. I'm sure NO would do that trade if Paul says he's out.

Agreed. IMO, Dallas is not ready for Miami. OKC has scored over 100 points for three straight games now. They just can't close out games and their inexperience is showing. The Heat won't lose a lead that big with 4 minutes to go in the Finals. The Mavs beat the Heat when the Heat had no rotation and no Haslem. Plus, the Mavs had Butler. This series is exposing the Mavs, IMO. OKC just can't close out and are too young. The Heat are facing a much tougher defense in Chicago and faced a tough one last round with the Celtics. The Mavs faced a Laker team that imploded and a young OKC team that doesn't know what they are doing. The toughest matchup the Mavs had in the playoffs was in the first round.

It should be a good series, but the Heat are taking it in 6 (they will win the first two, win game 4, and close it out in Game 6). I know everyone is on the Mavs jock right now and for good reason. But, if Chris Bosh continues to play like Chris Bosh and not Christina Bosh, then the Heat are unbeatable. Dirk didn't really have to work on the defensive end against an Ibaka or Collison or a depressed Gasol like he will against a motivated Bosh. Miami has speed like OKC does also.

And? Like I said, it's exposing the Mavs. OKC is scoring on them with no problem. A young, athletic team. The Heat should have no problem scoring on the Mavs as well. And the Heat will be able to close out games. They have three players that can go for 30 on any given night. Dallas is a team full of respected vets, but they aren't ready for Miami. Sorry. They are going to have false confidence against them due to the regular season wins. Now, if Butler somehow is able to play, it'll change it up. He can provide defense and about 15 PPG, but it looks HIGHLY unlikely that he'll play. The Heat are just too strong.

After the Bulls are defeated by the Heat, the Mavs will just be the next stepping stone to their first championship, tbh.

LOL then explain why they're down 3-1? what's the per quarter points of the OKC in each game of the series?

MIA is as young as a team as OKC? what is the average age of OKC compared to MIA?

Check out the boxscore from when James Harden fouled out. 25-6. Somebody needs to tattoo it to Scott Brooks forehead. The utter lack of creativity allowed Dallas to load up on KD and WB and defend them easily. I saw it all season in late game situations.
