Wasn't he supposed to come back at the start of the LA series?

Anybody know if he'll be remotely ready, at all, if they beat OKC and advance to the Finals?

At this stage he will damage the chemistry, much like when Orlando traded for Alston to compensate for Nelson's absence, but when Nelson returned to the lineup the chemistry was completely broken.

Mavs are better with Peja and Marion than Butler at this stage. Butler is an isolation player, unlike Peja who is a catch and shooter. They need a lot more time to integrate Butler back into the lineup without hurting their chemistry.

I mean having 2 two way players to match-up with both wade and bron, wade can rest on stevenson defensively, and can easily take terry offensively with butler he'd have to defend and work for his points.

You can't mess up the chemistry by bringing by Butler

KD needs to seriously be put on suicide watch right now.

This is not the way to react to a loss like this.

Yeah but if he can play, might as well keep him on the bench and bring him in if they need him.

You are going to need to throw many high quality perimeter defenders against Bron/Wade.

But Wade just can't finish around the rim as he did before. Unlike Bulls, Dallas can exchange points with 2 of those 3 stars, while containing others, and have a chance to win. That's why I said it would be 50/50. If Wade is on top of his game like LeBron is, Heat might have a better chance. But right now, it's really a toss up for me.

He is young and at least he didn't cry...:p

Doesn't give OKC fans much hope, does it?

So true. The reason OKC's defense was so good a year ago was because of Ron Adams, who was hired by Thibs and went to the Bulls. OKC has been lost on defense most of the season without him. So it can't be said that Brooks is good on either end of the floor. It's the combination of OKC's defense evaporating and their offensive sets being so pathetic that has made me so anti-Brooks.

He was pouting...not sure it was the best way to handle the situation but I really don't know how a player should react after an all-time historic choke job.
