I spoiler tagged it because the direwolves played an integral part in the wildlings/Bran, Robb & Theon scene in the book. And it was much more than just them hanging around the kids.
I almost wish they would have CG'd the wolves in the back ground somewhere just to remind us they are around instead of them just pooping up at random times like at the wall with Snow.
Yeah. Even if they don't have an integral part of the scene just so that we see them. They played a bigger part in the book.

Yeah, he's a hoot. Almost makes me wish that I hadn't read the books to be able to have the reaction he is having.
aight, never read the books i dont mind the spoiler tags, and i doubt i will read the non spoiler edition of this thread cause ive already invested 22 pages of this thread, so please continue to use them i have a question tho, gonna spoiler cause i dont remember if it was in ep 6 or 7 although im sure it was 6 Spoiler i dont remember ned actually finding out that ser jaime and cersei were having an affair and bran saw it and thats why they tried to kill him, was there a scene i missed or are we just supposed to gather he found out through deduction?
Spoiler I haven't seen episode 7 yet, but in 6 he just figures out that Robert isn't the father since all the Baratheons have black hair, but none of Cersie's children do, but he hasn't figured out that Jamie is the father.
So... a couple of geeky questions (what other kind is there?): 1. Does gold really work that way? Can you melt with a soup pot and does it solidify that quickly after being poured? I understand that it most likely won't melt that quickly but time contraints on TV means you can't just sit around waiting for the melting. 2. How exactly does the "b*stard" status work? If, say, Jon Snow gets married and has a child, is the child consider a legitmate child or does the b*stard status gets passed down? Does the child have the name "Snow"? If so, how do you distinguish between a legitimate child who happened to have a b*stard father/grandfather, etc. and a true b*stard? Is the b*stard of a b*stard considered a double-b*stard or just regular b*stard?
Why don't you just admit you are just trying to ask anything you can think of to keep this thread rolling (which personally I appreciate)? As for the gold, I would of thought it would take like 30 minutes to melt. If so, Viserys would have to sit there the whole time waiting for what's coming. That would suck.
Gold melts pretty quickly once you get to the right temperature. Modern furnaces are hotter and faster (a few minutes) but over a fire in a pot/crucible would take a bit longer. Obviously they shortened it so you don't have to watch metal melt for 15 minutes. Pouring out it would cool pretty quickly. In a shop you can quench (put object from mold in water) basically as soon as you stop pouring. But without water it would take a bit longer. Probably make more of a crack when the head hits the ground as opposed to a clang.
Well, somebody has to since it had been almost 4 hours between my post and the one before it. It would indeed suck. Actually, it pretty much sucked for Viserys either way.
Is that you standing outside my window? http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=6138239&postcount=67
