Looks like the advance viewing of the next episode has crashed HBOGO (at least through the comcast portal).
I am not surprised HBO was not prepared for the number of people accessing HBO Go. It's playing for me, but the video quality is very poor. Not worth watching tonight.
Spoiler They said that they were too hard to work with on set... they are real animals after all. You will see them in small isolated scenes, but they cannot harness them to be just hanging around all the kids at all times. Also, don't know why you made this a spoiler (it is not)... this whole thread should be retitled "game of spoiler tags".
Are we allowed to talk freely about what just happened in a show that aired earlier in the night, or do we have to use spoilers? Who was the guy that fought on behalf of Tyrion? Was he traveling with him from the Wall? The last scene was awesome.
1. Tyrion's champion was a "sellsword" (mercenary) named Bronn. He was part of the party that rose up to take Tyrion at the inn when Cat called for Tyrion's arrest. He also killed several hill tribes raiders when they attacked the party on the road and told Tyrion he needed a woman after a fight. Bronn was not the guy who traveled with Tyrion from the Wall. The guy who did was Yoren. Yoren, as you may remember, didn't join Cat/Tyrion on the road. Instead, he went to King's Landing to tell Ned what went on. The actor who played Bronn and the actor who played Yoren have some similar features so I can see the confusion. 2. About the last scene... I don't think the portrayal of the physics of melting gold is quite correct. I mean, it takes me longer than that to cook a chicken egg. 3. Damn it I can't get HBOGO because Time Warner Cable doesn't have a contract with HBO for it, I guess.
A sellsword who volunteered to help escort Tyrion for Lady Stark at the inn. He is a great character in the series. Not loyal to any House as we saw. Basically sees an opportunity to make some money. Don't need spoilers for anything that has already aired on TV, but don't spoil what happens for the next episode since it's only available online atm.
Dammit, 42 minutes into episode 7 and HBO GO is acting like crap again. Low quality and freezes and won't start again.
btw this episode was all kinds of awesome, they need to give whoever wrote and directed it more work the crowning was done very well and seemed realistically horrifying
Another good episode Never once did I expect Joffrey to be someone else's. Is it too easy to say it's Jamie's? Was Joffrey's apology to Sansa sincere? it seemed kind of strange and out of the blue. I really didn't expect Ned to reclaim the title of the hand so quickly. I thought the **** hit the fan last episode. In the books were there any Dire wolves in that forest scene with Bran? Is there a (large) time skip between the first and second books?
They did Viserys's death perfectly. Sansa was a spoiled brat in the books, but they are playing it up even more for the tv series. They give her no redeeming qualities. The conversations she had with the Hound told from her POV used to make her more sympathetic in the books but those scenes have been removed. Also the actress playing Sansa is terrible and hard to watch.
