"Black hole" usually refers to interior players who are fed the ball (once it goes in, it never comes back out). Zach Randolph of course had this reputation up until this year's playoffs. A perimeter player isn't going to have such one-sided stats because their #touches is so much higher.

Look, I'm just going by what I see. Durant takes a lot of shots, often very early in the offense. He takes more than you think because he draws a lot of fouls (which is a good thing). It's not my cup of tea but since he's getting the job done, I'm not trying to imply he's hurting the team or anything like that. I think that as he matures his game will open up more because he'll see that passing is a viable option too

Let's settle on "one dimension gunner" then.

I'd add - if you say that about Durant, you'd have to say the exact same thing about Dirk. In his entire career, there's only been four seasons where he had 3 to 3.5 apg and he was a poor rebounder his first several seasons.

I totally missed that Nate Robinson plays on the Thunder. When did that happen? That annoying little punk.

Nowitzki remains one of four players in NBA history to average 25 points and 10 rebounds in his playoff career (Hakeem Olajuwon, Elgin Baylor and Bob Pettit make up the other three).

    Poor rebounder...ok...

    His FIRST SEVERAL SEASONS.
And he hasn't had 9rpg in the regular season since '06-'07 (rounding up).

I like Dirk, I like Durant, I'm not hating on either.

Just telling clippy if he wants to try and marginalize Durant, Dirk's production and game are nearly identical.

For a SF, KD is a fine rebounder. Like I said in another thread, his average will go down in the future now that Ibaka is at PF instead of Jeff Green. A healthy Perkins in the middle next season will also cut down his opportunities.

I think Dirk is a decent rebounder at PF. Can't really fault him there.

Exactly. Dirk didn't get all of his little touch fouls and couldn't get hot because of it. Choked his non-deserving 3 freethrow attempts.

Nothing like a jam like this to shut up the Dallas fans.

I'm predicting a huge game by Westrbook tonight in game 3. He always has a great game after facing controversy.

    Westbrook 27 pts, 7 asts, 7 rbs
    Durant 32 pts 6 rbs
    Harden 15 pts
    Ibaka 3 blks

    Thunder win 103 - 96

Dallas faces a major uphill climb now. OKC will be running at them all game and attacking their D. Carlisle has to figure out how to keep guys like Barea and Terry from getting overwhelmed by OKC's size and speed again.

Marion has to reconnect with his inner Matrix. He can't have another poor game and expect his team to win.
