That's right, because the Rockets aren't interested in an accomplished head coach. He would be too expensive and wouldn't bend to their whims. You're acting like the Rockets think they're too good for Mike Brown when it's actually the opposite. The Rockets think he's too good for them so why waste anyone's time.

You apparently cannot make up your mind. So now you admit the Rockets did not want Brown, which was your entire premise before?

You're right, the Rockets "did not want" Brown. Much like I "did not want" Kate Upton.

We didn't get superstars because everyone in the L besides for Les and Morey knew Yao has been a gimp for 3+ years.

McGrady situation didn't help either, but 2005 Yao + so-so McGrady would've been a team to go to.

But that wasn't our team, and that bumped us down from the top 3 of any AAA star.

Dude has been successful every where he has been and was one of Popovic (Greg Popovic)

I am perplexed as to why people think he is a horrible coach. His history and track record says otherwise.

First off you cant take yourself out of the running for the job the Rockets were not gonna give him to begin with. He took himself off the list before we rejected him. He already knew we wouldnt want him.

If Adelman wants any of the jobs Brown's going for...its his. Mike brown doesn't stand a chance. He's gonna end up picking up RA's leftovers.

Is Avery Johnson a good coach? He won on the Mavericks.... how about Mike Dunleavy, he won for the Lakers for awhile... Don Chaney?... Isiah Thomas... he had the Pacers doing well..

Brown deserves another shot, based on his pedigree and tenure with the Cavs... but he was terrible offensively, and his teams struggled in the playoffs at times... furthermore, he never received the vote of confidence from his players... last, lets not forget he coached the best player in the NBA.

He is far from a sure thing, and his weaknesses are glaring, but if I am the Warriors, and need someone who has had some success, and coaches defense, I may give him a trial...

It was really silly to believe that Brown was chasing the Warriors when the top prize has always been the Lakers. The Warriors and Rockets were secondary choices.

They never even called Brown for an interview.

Brown "pulled his name out" weeks into the coaching search. It was never even in the running.

A better analogy would be us being Kate Upton, Mike Brown wanting us but after realizing he can't have us, he "is not interested in us."

Good luck to Brown. The Lakers job is great but challenging, extremely high expectations following the greatest coach of all time and dealing with the diminishing skills of Kobe.

Funny why Rick Adelman didn't get the job over Mike Brown.

So they don't hire him for the same reason we let him go.

So i guess Kobe is the coach on offense now, cause Mike Brown can't run an offensive play for ****.
