ATW, you know that United States is the one true christian country that God supports and blesses. It's gonna happen 7pm US timezones. The nerve of some of you foreigners thinking Rapture would start in another country!
Pacific Daylight Time, Eastern Standard Time or Central Time? Please tell me so I can be well-prepared for it.
bahhh, blashphemous...I know someone here, whose 4 letter name starts with a R and ends with an E, that ISN'T going to be saved.
for all the humor to be found in this rapture nonsense; there's real tragedy in the fact that thousands of people may have forever altered the course of their lives, and in doing so causing themselves and others great harm, all because of some manipulative, superstitious *******(s). as stevie wonder said, "when you believe in things that you don't understand, then you suffer..." Case in point, this lady in LA who tried to kill herself and her two children the other day to prevent them from facing judgment day. <iframe width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/3Vj8-_jhFAA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> A lot of the posters here think less of me for "picking" on religion, but quite frankly, when stuff like this is at stake, completely avoidable, unnecessary suffering... I hope it puts my point into perspective for some of you.
<iframe width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/G0QtzU5hYXk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
And there are billions of religious folks who did not try and kill themselves and are not taking any of this seriously and are not suffering due to this.
And they could go about their lives being peaceful and happy without it just as well. I'm not looking for another unproductive argument here, so don't take it there, please.
I'm pretty sure I'll be in a movie theater at 7PM so that's probably a bad timing for rapture for me, what with the room being all dark and crap Can't even see who's going to heaven to congratulate them

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43121772/ns/world_news-europe/ REYKJAVIK, Iceland — Iceland's most active volcano erupted Saturday, with a white plume shooting 18,000 feet into the air, scientists said. . The eruption was followed by around 50 small earthquakes, the largest of which measured 3.7 on the Richter Scale, according to Iceland's meteorological office. There was a similar eruption at the same volcano in 2004. Scientists don't believe this eruption will lead to air travel chaos like that caused by ash from the Eyjafjallajokul volcano in April 2010. The Grimsvotn volcano is located underneath the Vatnajokull glacier in southeast Iceland. Sparsely populated Iceland is one of the world's most volcanically active countries and eruptions are frequent.
