If we don't win another in the next 100 years, our grandchildren will be calling it the curse of Big Shot Bob.

I still can't believe we didn't even get one title out of the Yao-Mac era. (Even with the addition of Artest)

    I can't believe we couldn't even win a game 7 in Houston.

The Akeem/Ralph era was the one that had the most promise.

I'm going with 5- 7 years ...We're going to have a nice long window if Morey and co. aren't saddled with injuries.

Depends if we rebuild properly, if we keep trying to add pieces here and then we won't win another one for 10+ years.

There's a lot of luck involved but I don't see yall winning it in 10 years or less. When you get to the 15 year range then it becomes a possibility, but you could also never win it again.

When Yao's name is forgotten and we stop relying on undersized players.

So I'd say within 11 years time.

20 years, seriously. We haven't shown any signs of turning the corner since our last championship. Hell, a T-Mac & Yao squad didn't even get past the 1st round once. It's gonna be a looooonnnngggggg wat.

Within 100 years is the most likely scenario since it would include every title between 2012 and 2111. Very good chance they win at least one of those.

Ask me about this tomorrow. It doesn't matter if the world will really end today like some folks have predicted.

Until one of the young guys we draft develops into a superstar while with the Rockets. Trade for one of those are pretty much out of question.

I agree, I would guess 4-5 years, though it's hard to say. Who would have thought that the Celtics, in the summer of 2007 coming off a 24-win season, would be able to answer that question with "one year"?

One trade opportunity could change everything.

I hope that in 5 years that we will be a serious playoff team to be reckoned with. At least 3rd round team.

i'm not betting on it in my lifetime. i'd have laughed at you had you told me in july 1995 that in may 2011, i'd still be waiting for the next championship.

Or a 20-win season away. A few years after the 19-win season, Magic got quite close. Tank-Draft-Rebuild.
