I predict that the Bulls won't score more than 100 pts again in this series. But if they can keep the Heat from scoring over 90, they should be able to win the series.

I've made a bet for $350 with my friends before the series that Miami would win it 4-1. So far I'm looking like a genius! : )

I wouldn't say that. The Heat would have to win three more in a row for that to happen, and not only is that not a sure thing, it's not even very likely. Good luck, but I think you're going to be $350 poorer really soon.

Sorry. Not a heat fan. You can see on my other post that I said that I don't believe the heat can beat Dallas. Heat are fun to watch, I'll admit, but I'm just one of those guys who doesn't understand why people hate teams while their own team is sitting home watching the playoffs, so I debate the hate.

No. But, I'm not hating on other teams. I'm enjoying good basketball across the board. I enjoy these games regardless of who wins/looses. You guys are sick/ill when the heat or mavs win. That's the major difference I see between myself and most on these threads.

Seriously though guys, how good are Lebron and Wade to get this team full of scrubs this far? With everyone playing together for the first time this year?

I don't know if you are being facetious, but they aren't a team of scrubs at all. Bosh obviously is excellent. Miller & Haslem are very good, but they've been injured all year-- overall the Heat have been bitten by the injury bug slightly more than other teams but since none of the big 3 have had to sit out, it's not too bad. The rest of the bench underrated-- they don't put up big numbers because the big 3 monopolize the ball, but they are solid NBA players. Jones & Chalmers in particular would be welcome additions to any bench.

Riley has done a fantastic job building this team. Barring major injuries, it will contend for a long, long time. LeBron haters are going to have to crawl under a rock.

I disagree. Bosh is "decent". Not excellent. Miller is awful, just horrible. Chalmers and Jones are decent but wouldn't get much PT on most teams AND the heat have been injured all year and still got the 2 seed. And with Cleveland having the best record in the league last year it just tells you how ridiculously good Lebron is and how much of an impact he has on games.

You have to account for the fact that when you have three all-stars on the team (and IMO anyone who is an all-star is "excellent"), everyone else's numbers are going to decline. Miller is a very good player who just hasn't fit into the system due to less touches and (mostly) the injuries he's sustained this year. Chalmers is a good rotation player. Even Anthony, as limited as he is offensively, is a big contributor defensively (which is where the Heat are surprisingly winning games given that they have the two best offensive players in the NBA). This is a very good roster of players, far and away the best in the league, and I expect them to win many titles this decade.

How is that rigging things in the Heat's favor? You could make the case that it favors them more than the Bulls because Chicago has greater depth, but if anything it hurt them against the Celtics.

Who do you think needed an extra day of rest more, Lebron (26) and Wade (29) or KG (35), Pierce (33), and Allen (35)? Not surprisingly, the Celtics got their one win with the extra day of rest, and KG had his only strong game of the series.
