    You are a dumbazz. A veteran minimum contract is very low risk to the team. But I doubt it'll ever come to that.

    yeah ok what ever but that's just more cap room to try and get some 1 that can play more than he sits on the bench

    yao is over time to move on

    I am dying to find out what Yao would command in the FA market and what kind of hometown discount he would give to Houston.

    Everyone here kept talking about the importance of a dominant center. Looking around the league, which winning team has a dominant center. The league is becoming guard oriented. We need a mobile center who can defend against PnR. Yao is not that. Even when he was healthy, Yao could not carry the team to a championship. What's the point of re-signing an injured Yao?

    I say we move on and put an end to this Yao Era.

    This is a baseless assumption, unless you also assume that they sign Yao to a big time center contract.
