He's gonna convince the GSW to trade Steph Curry to the Lakers for Steve Blake and a Kareem Abdul-Jabbar statue.

hahaha damn it.. Curry is going to end up on the lakers in a year or two..

But to be fair that Gasol trade acutally worked out pretty well for Memphis..
At the time it looked horrible..
Kwame Brown (one of the biggest busts) + 1st round pick (late first round - usually dont amount to much) for Paul Gasol??????

but they turned Kwame's expiring into Zach Randolph and got Marc Gasol...

Paul for Randolph and Marc looks like a steal now!

Jerry West is a great GM .. now lets hope our suppose wizard Morey can right our ship

They didn't need Kwame Brown's contract to sign Z-bo. In fact, Memphis decided to get Z-Bo because they were so far under the cap they would get penalized if they didn't meet the minimum salary requirements.

The trade was basically Pau Gasol for Marc Gasol. Horrible trade no matter how you look at it, considering the Lakers ended with 2 rings and 2 final appearances and Memphis reached the 2nd round after 4 years.

Pau Gasol was not going to get the Grizzlies to the finals if he stayed.

The problem with that trade was not who they got, but that they did not wait till the trade deadline to see if they could have gotten more.
