Why does Arnold or any other high profile celebrity seem to catch all the flack for these types of things while the other party is shown pity? She slept with a married man,, she should be catching some flack as well. Not talking specifically about what I have read on this board just what I have read and heard elsewhere.
i guess it's usually seen as the more powerful person having control over the situation...that person just happens to be the man most of the time. I have heard some media talk about the woman betraying the trust Shriver had for her, since she was in her house and involved in their personal lives. I'm surprised this thread died down, especially after that woman stepped forward claiming she had sex with him at 16.
Because the other party (if single) didn't take vows not to have sex with anyone but his/her spouse. I still think it's wrong, but being the cheater is much much worse.
