Just got past the Traffic part... I can tell things are about to get even more interesting. I'm loving it.
I'm just staring my second case with Homicide. The game is a lot of fun. Other people in the game are sucky drivers (It's never my fault) and make it hard for me to get around. I never finish a case without doing more than $1000 damage to my car.
Just finished "The White Shoe Slaying", missed 2 vital leads that would have strengthened my case spoiler: 1. chasing down the cab driver, must've missed the APB response over the radio 2. questioning the bus driver that finally dropped her off I did manage to get 5 stars on the "Silk Stocking Murder" though, got nearly perfect except missed 1 question. Overall I think I'm getting better but it seems to be getting tougher.
I can never tell when a suspect is telling the truth or not. I usually get a lot of questions wrong, find some evidence, and then the actual murder ends up taking me on a wild speed chase. To top it off my boss at the end of the case talks about what a terrible job I've been doing. Any tips on how to distinguish the liars?
I'm tempted to get this, if for no other reason than to support developers doing experimental projects, but I've been having game ADHD lately, and I have zero time to put into an epic 20+ hour story. Even a game like RDR, I basically cheated and used the walkthrough just to experience the story arc because of a lack of time/willingness to plod through it normal style.
So that explains all the "DonnyMost is playing Halo:Reach" messages on XBL that have been popping up the last few weeks.
True, but I like working on the cases that come up as driving so that I can earn some intuition points. I use about 2 every 3 interviews so I need those points.
If you have intuition points use them and choose to check what the community says. Then go with that choice. Also you can watch the suspects eyes and mouth. If they are looking away or twitching and shifting their eyes, I usually doubt what they've told me. It doesn't always work, but it has helped.
Thanks for the help. This game is so addicting it kind of irks me that I just bought this Thursday and I'm pretty sure I'm almost done with the story.
I just finished, and the game does get better as you progress and the main story becomes clearer. The story is pretty gripping (imo) and I was eager to find out what was going to happen next.
Shifty eyes are obvious; but there are also some genuine lookaways as well. Facial twitches. Fast blinking. Sharp movements.
