Thought it was an excellent episode yesterday, small thing I really like is the revamped intros they've done for Deangelo and Dwight.
Wasn't really impressed, but it wasn't exactly terrible. Hopefully the season finale delivers. As an aside, I found it interesting that Gabe said "I sure as hell don't believe in god" and that they focused the camera on Oscar during the Pledge of Allegiance to emphasize the fact that he opted not to recite the "under god" part. http://boards.nbc.com/nbc/index.php?showtopic=852443
I felt like this was a shortened episode and could have easily been stretched to an hour. Jim and Dwight felt short, and I would have liked to see Dwight do all the stuff he was blackmailed to do, like that episode of Fresh Prince where Will and Carlton blackmailed Hilary.
what are the rumors out there about the replacement? are they planning on trying to keep the series going post carell?
Funny moments, but they definitely should have shown Jim Carrey interviewing. If any of those guest stars deserved the most air time, it was him.
I'm sure they will show more Carrey next season. It didn't leave me wanting more, but I actually am excited to see who they pick. I actually liked the interview with Robert Spader, it was hilarious. Ray Romano... not so much.
Awesome finale...tons of good moments. James Spader definitely the best of the guest stars. Wish Ray Romano wasn't exactly like his Raymond character, but I did like his last line.
If they can stretch the two minutes of writing for Spader's alpha male into twenty-two minutes an episode, I am totally down for next season. That. Was. Awesome.
I thought the Creed opening was fantastic, I rarely laugh out loud to the office by myself anymore, but that had me rolling. I was satisfied with the episode as a whole.
I enjoyed that episode. There really feels like no favorite out of the candidates. I was thinking they'd reveal it at the last second.
