Really hope not, but whatever. We're not gonna find anyone with a more proven track record than either of our last two coaches.

Well... if Steve 'I like to make stuff up' Kyler says that McHale is the front runner, I'd probably put my money on Casey or Frank.

I'm fine with either Casey or McHale (I'll pass on Frank). I'd just rather it happen sooner rather than later, so we can move our focus towards the draft.

Sources in Houston indicate Daryl Morey is front runner for head coaching position.

Sources in Houston indicate Lawrence Frank, Dwane Casey, and Kevin McHale are all front runners for the head coaching position.

Sources in Houston indicate Daryl Morey is unsure of who is front runner for head coaching position.

    ...

In all seriousness, I can see it making sense in only that McHale is hired, a guy like Finch is placed on his staff to be mentored, when McHale decides hes no longer interested in doing it anymore, Finch or another assistant promoted to HC.

Might as well start a firesale. Kevin McHale is a hubris-filled joke.

Y! Sources: Kevin McHale and Golden State executives had an "informal" meeting on coaching job on Thursday. http://tinyurl.com/3pdmrko

Hey even a broken clock is right twice a day! Plus McHale is growing on me...I am no fan of Frank's or Casey's so McHale is more of the high risk/high reward gamble I would be willing to take. Give him no more then a 3yr deal and if need be give him the boot after season 2.

If that's true, then that makes McHale the right man for the job, imo.

It has to be Casey. There's no reason why they wouldn't of already hired either Frank or McHale if it was going to be them.
