Pacers are ones making seriously play for No. 2. Granger is being mentioned. So are Rubio and Beasley. Again, more later on FOX.

Maybe Granger, Darren Collison and 2 first round picks for Beasley, Rubio, and the 2nd overall pick?

That would be a steal for the Pacers imo.

I love the pacers. Trading granger is the right move, imo. He doesn't fit their gritty team.

The Wolves would be swallowing a lot of money in that trade. they need a third party.

Not according to the trade machine, nbut then again that doesn't take into consideration expirings.

As for the Pacers, man that's a steal! I don't see Collisen, Love, and Granger being in the playoffs in the West though.

This sucks, I was hoping the Rockets could swoop in and get the 2nd pick.

Sorry for the double post, but I just ran through the numbers, if the Timberwolves don't resign Telfair, and Rubio makes a little over 860,000, the nthey make it under the current CBA.

I don't like Beasley and don't think Rubio will be all that good. Maybe the salary dump aspect helps the Pacers.

Sounds like Pacers are doing this at least partially to cut salary and remain competitive (translation: not get killed for it by the fans).

Granger makes $12M next year, and the Pacers are one of several teams on the brink of financial ruin.

Beasley being involved is no surprise - Wolves want him and his $6M gone.

All in all, it's a fair trade. Derrick Williams would be a downgrade but reasonable starter at the 3.

Granger/Love combo would be halfway decent for the Wolves.

I'd expect to see the Clippers try and bid - Granger is their #1 target this summer.

Pacers would love to have Eric Gordon/Paul George but I doubt the Clippers would trade EG.

If Minneapolis is too small potatos for Team Rubio, I'm sure he'll love Indianapolis

Then again, considering that he's pretty much done nothing but suck for the last 18 months or so, his leverage is drying up.

Would the Cavs do number four for 14,23, and knicks pick next year if we take Varajao off of them? That way we have a Center in case Kanter busts?

Exactly, he should be thankful the U.S. actually lets him enter the country.

I don't think it would take much more than the #14 + filler if we were willing to take on one of Varejao or B. Davis.

    Hey hey, watch it!

The weather in Indy is a LOT better than Minneapolis. Even though I was used to -10 F and a foot or two of snow on the ground, I couldn't understand how humans could exist in Minnesota.

that could work out very very well for Indy, assuming Rubio comes over...a great chance to finalize a core.

I don't even think he's eligible for an E1B Visa untill he can shoot over 25%. You have to have "extraordinary ability" - he doesn't.

Kahn seems to be denying rumor saying Minnesota gets robbed.

    MikeWellsNBA Mike Wells
Kahn via text on the Minny/Indy rumor: "You mean we don't have to give them (Kevin) Love too?"

If Kahn could build a winner, he would be a fun GM.
