So, if there are people missing May 22, 2011, does that mean they went to heaven? In theory, those left behind are to live in torment thru October 21, 2011 when the world ends right? so is this suppose to happen May 21, 2011 at 12:01 am? or throughout the day? I'm not being a smartazz, just have some questions... IMHO, people will be judged, however, does this start this weekend? IDK...but we have two days to party!!!! but also, its never too late to be a good person...
According to Camping, an earthquake will start off the festivities at 6pm in every time zone. I assume thta means there's an earthquake in Japan first, then another one in the next time zone etc., then there will be multiple series of violent events until October 21st, when God destroys the world. God has already decided the 200 million people on Earth to be saved(apparently at total random, there's no guranteed way). The rest of us will simply cease to exist, rather than burning in hell.
To me, the most interesting part of the whole thing is how the self described experts are going to save face when their absolute predictions don't happen. Do they even try, or do they just pretend nothing happened? The rational thing to do would be to get out of the prophacy interpretation business, but I'm sure they'll probably go on making ridiculous absolutist claims. But how can you do so with a straight face? I guess maybe you have to be oblivious in a certain way to make that sort of absolute prediction in the first place?
