Haslem's track record gives him the edge. Gibson has really only come into his own this year, Haslem has been good for a while.

Gibson has youth... but Haslem was a starter for the Heat when they won it all... He is a good starter in this league when he's healthy and has proven it. Gibson still needs to prove he can consistenly contribute every night in this league.. Haslem has already done it... HASLEM...

    Same.

Honestly, I'm not sure, because of Haslem's inury I haven't seem him play a whole lot this season, I'd ave to compare the two side by side.

i dont get how ppl are saying that gibson is coming out this year (possibly because of his play in the last two games)...

even last year he has been playing very well in the minutes given and also played great as a starter when noah was out with plantar fascitis

I think right now the answer is Taj Gibson. I think he is more explosive and athletic than Haslem (which I wouldn't have guessed until I saw his dunks in game 1) and I think he's a better shooter.

Haslem is probably the better post defender and rebounder, but Gibson won't embarrass you in those two categories.

A healthy Haslem > Gibson at this point in their careers.

    Why? Haslem has a jumper.

Gibson can be better in the futhre though.
