Maybe its because people dislike him., but for myself I like seeing a superstar get dunk on by someone that isnt a superstar.

 

Wade was hungover. He didn't elevate like he normally does. He's an idiot for partying after the Boston series. Revenge tonight.

To paraphrase a former Rocket (Walt Williams?), Wade is lucky they don't make posters of guys like Taj Gibson.

I work in the Water Tower in Chicago which is connected to the Ritz Carlton hotel, and all the Miami Heat team is staying there. I talked to Joel Anthony while he was buying a sandwich from the Macy's Taste Bar. Still lookin for LeBron and DWade. I heard they've eaten in our food court (which is actually a sit down restaurant). All the Ritz-Carlton workers have on Chicago Bulls hats and gear. It's a fun time to be living in Chicago!

Apparently the Heat have been setting up camp for workouts and practice at my old undergrad Univ. of Illinois-Chicago. They're using the classrooms for film review, etc.


So any predictions on scores tonight?

I'm going with the Bulls winning, but only by 4-6 pts. I think Lebron and Wade will pop off for 20+ a piece tonight.

 

My guess is Bulls by 8 because of FTs during garbage time. It will be a closer game than that throughout. The Bulls roster spots 4-12 is just far better than the Heat. No depth = more chances the other teams go on big runs.

 

This reminds me of back in 1994 during the Finals, Patrick Ewing was dining at a restaurant in Sugar Land with his family and an employee used (I think) icing to write "Go Rockets" in his dessert. He immediately stormed out.

Vegas doesn't like to change the spread after one game in a playoff series. That's why this line is still -2. As I wrote on Sunday, the Bulls are the better team, and I don't think it's even close. Miami is essentially a group of individuals playing a game of pick-up basketball. That's why LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh haven't beaten Chicago at all this season.

Right. And you're the same guy who thought Orlando and Boston were the two best teams in the conference. You repeated over and over that they would be meeting in the Conference Finals. How did that prediction work out for you?
