I played for the first time last night...did the system update on both my machines, changed passwords, etc...I didn't realize my two machines were linked w/ the same account...so I guess I need to create another account as the same account can't be logged on at the same time... Played COD: MW2 for a few minutes...definite lag time and servers were up and down...I got the match kill on the last game but then it froze the next one...I'll try again tonight...
Fired up 2K11 last night....connectivity issues, but on 2K11 servers....switched my time zone to London and got better response. Wonder when the Playstation store will go online for us to cash in on our goodies.
I'm impressed Sony is offering such a large and generous Mea Culpa gift bag. I'll pick up LBP for sure, but I'm not sure about what else. I'm really ready for the store to come back online, because I want to purhcase Outland.
Well, that leaves me with only two choices - Dead Nation and Wipeout HD + Fury (what is Fury?) since I already have the others.. as an aside, if you have not already got Super Stardust, GET TI, it is just about the most perfect arcade game ever.. slick modern graphics, but harkening back to those old glory days in the arcades, when you could become a God and play for hours on one quarter.. sweeeet! What about the PSP games? Which ones of those are really good?
Dead Nation is the only one I don't have. Wipeout is a good racing game (think Mario Kart with spaceships) and Stardust is all that was good about 80's arcade games.
So if you're a dork like me and only play the sports games (Madden, NCAA, NBA2K, etc.) which 2 games should I get? I've never heard of any of them. Do any of them involve shooting people? That would be cool.
I already played and beat inFamous, have next to no interest in LBP...not real sure what to do with this. Im not really familiar with the others.
I used to have Superstardust HD, so I'll be getting that again... Think of it like Asteroids on Acid. Question now is do I add LBP (My girlfriend's son really wants to play it) or Wipeout? And why is the store down again
Honestly, Littlebig planet is great. It looks like a kid's game, but it's actually pretty fun. Especially since you're getting it for free.
While we're at it, anyone want to share their PSN name so I can add you guys? Here's mine if anyone's curious: Blues_n_Rock11 I only have Black Ops for MP for now. And yes, I'm a semi-noob.
PSN: JSLLC Infamous looks pretty good I'm pretty set on that one. Right now deciding between LBP and Dead Nation. I heard alot of about LBP even when it was coming out, but the demo was kinda boring for me? But then again, not completely sold on Dead Nation either.

So... are occasionally users of the service able to receive these games or is it just paying members? Infamous sounds pretty interesting.
