Can you elaborate on this? What is it you actually do that is so effective and/or different? Obviously, you recruit hot chicks, but that can't be all there is to it. I'm genuinely curious....I don't know squat about running a business.
As much as I would like to share this information with you...I cannot. This is my livelihood at stake. It's what will make us or break us. No one can know our plans for our club...cause this is a copycat business. You notice how all the strip clubs in Houston are now selling $1 drinks during the day? Along with a lunch/dinner buffet? That was our idea. But I will give you a small tidbit, it's not about the hot chicks, or the strong drinks...it's the atmosphere that makes or breaks a club. How you make that atmosphere and who you cater it to...is how you succeed in this business.
I wish I could tell you guys what is gonna separate us from the rest of the strip clubs, but I can't. I would be risking our club's success and sabotaging our own future. I will tell you this though...you may think that running a strip club is just about hiring dancers and serving drinks. A lot of clubs have opened and closed in the past 5 years and that's not gonna stop. We went to this one strip club off of 45 south called "G" "Spot", cause one of our friends knows the manager. The parking lot was well lit and nicely decorated, the inside was really fancy, top of the line bar, chairs, the vip was awesome, 2 bars, champagne room. The works. We're thinking wow, this place is really nice. Now this is where they screwed up...since we got there, they played nothing but rap, all the girls had gang tattoos, and they were all smoking...and when we met the owner, we knew right away he was a pimp. That stupid club is never gonna succeed. How many customers do you think that club is gonna steal from Men's Club, Treasures, and St James? Even Ritz. NONE. It's all about how you run a club, and who you have running it. Music dictates who comes in and who doesn't...that's where it all starts. Go into Mens Club one day and see what kind of music they play. If a strip club owner is gonna emulate somebody...copy the top clubs...not the ones int the gutter. That's our general plan...but we are adding so much more, you'll see.
Play rock music to keep the black crowd away? I didn't say that. The owner of Michael's did, that motherf#@# is racist. But let's turn this around...if you guys had a choice: go to Mens Club for a bachelor party with your buddies, or Legends an all black strip club...WHERE would you go? Be honest now. I'm not racist...but if you play rap and hip hop in your club you will attract drug dealers and pimps...and THEY will ruin any chance you might have of attracting legit people like lawyers, business owners and CEO's. I worked at Legends, I know how they run their business...and I didn't like it. I had pimps threatening my life, and following me home. Why would I cater to them at our club??? It makes no sense.
Dood, I work at east houston hospital if I knew you worked there I would of become a regular customer.
BWAHAHAHAHA! That's hilarious. Well I wouldn't mind a couple suggestions from you guys if you feel like brainstorming on how to make a strip club so EPIC it will destroy all the ones in HOUSTON.
You hiring? Lol  (I'm a guy and would a prefer a position that does not involve stripping or dancing)
Man, I've never thought of going to business with some of the people that I meet at michael's. For the most part, they're in their 60's shopping for fabric glue.
Well some of them have a lot of money laying around and they already "LIKE" strip clubs, so they figure: why not open one, and let El Hitman run it??? WHY NOT?!?!?!? hahahaha.
How old are you? When I lived in Houston 20+ years ago, I saw signs advertising things like this all the time.
Maybe that was 20 yrs ago, but 3 years ago we were the only club in Houston that had a lunch/dinner buffet, AND $1 wells/drafts from open till close. Still some clubs TRYING to copy us than don't fully understand the concept of $1 drinks...try to sell $1.75 or $2.75 wells/drafts because they feel that the club loses money on $1 drinks. Which in reality you triple your money, it's not much considering you can make $275 off of one $45 Patron bottle but the point is to get people IN THE DOOR. With the $1 drinks and all day buffet, you do that EASY. But some owners are extremely hard headed and waaay to cheap to do this...even though it's the key to success. And I will be 26 in Aug.
