Yes it has. I now believe the Bulls have a legit shot to win the series. In fact, shortly after posting the prediction I began to have doubts. Right now, I'll be wishy-washy and say it's 50/50. If the Bulls can make Miami play hard on offense and earn every basket, it will be tough for the Heat to win because it will take a near-perfect game. If Miami can force TOs and get more easy points, that will be huge.

The next move is on Spoelstra. Even if his 2 superstars shoot the ball well, I don't believe the Heat can win the series with 3 guys doing everything on offense. They need contributions from other guys to advance. If Miami is forced to play half-court and their offense remains predictable, the Bulls D and exhaustion will defeat them.

This series looks like 6 or 7 awesome games.

LOL @ excuses for Heat. Lebron and Wade must had 200k worth of alcohol the night before, if not they had food poisoning and stomach flu, if not they must have been ass raped by two male hookers and their anuses hurt, or they must have caught the bird flu the night before, or it wasn't Lebron and Wade playing at all, it was two imposters.....

Another thing you can notice is the EGOs came out to play again. If you saw Spoelstra's press conference, he repeatedly stressed how they got away from the gameplan, didn't execute the details of their offense, etc. Kenny Smith even mentioned that he had gone back and looked at the Bulls last 4 games v. the Heat's last 4 games and seen that the Bulls ran a set of plays, had a scheme, and created shots while the Heat would run schemes, plays, etc til the 2nd half and then they would run Lebron & Wade out on ISOs and they'd try to take over the game and win on star power.

Same thing happened tonight, except Lebron and Wade got frustrated with the defense, were unable to penetrate and then started making mistakes. I think they had a combined 4 trips to the free throw line in the second half?? Plus the Miami offense looked completely out of whack, no set plays, no commitment to running screens etc like Spoelstra stated in the post game. Once again the LeWade monster felt that they could win by pure talent; if they continue to think/act this way, the series will be over sooner than I predicted. I do believe that they will right the ship though and win at least 1-2.

Relax dude, it wasn't that intense. You have yet to even learn how LeBron will celebrate his championships, so invalid comparison anyway. I'm guessing at least double the amounts of those receipts you guys are getting so butthurt about, and probably triple the vigor & duration of head nodding & screaming:

The jumping around and screaming is one thing but the whole on the ground crying, celebrating is another. Overall, it was as if he had won a championship.

I am not butthurt, just saying that Chicago put them in their place.

Not even Dallas celebrated that hard after sweeping the 2-time defending champions in convincing fashion.

For the Heat to win, i think they need to disrupt the Bulls flow. One of the weaknesses the Bulls have shown in the playoffs so far is a bit of inconsistency. When their on, their extremely hard to beat. But sometimes when things dont go according to plan, the players individually start to think they have to take over the game. The Heat, of course, want that to happen for thats what Chicago did to them in the second half.

For the Heat, hopefully someone can breakdown what the Bulls are doing and come up with a counter plan. One that will put doubt in the Bulls players mind. Make them think Miami has figured them out. Make them think they need to do something different.

At this stage, the winner will be the that has the winning mentality and disposition.

Their is too much talent on both ends for one team to overcome the other solely on this.

For the Bulls, they need to rehearse a plan B. That is, if Miami does find a weakness and exploits in the Bulls, they can move seamlessly into another mode, instead of losing a whole qtr or half in trying to figure the counter move on the fly. But most importantly, they need to keep their heads on strait. Not let themselves start believing they can be beat. Keep the team concept and not resort to individual play.

yeah, you could see the bulls d was stifling on lebron and wade. its the same thing as boston last year with lebron. he either has to learn to get to the rim, stop hesitating on the 15 foot jumper if that's all they're gonna give, or come off the rock

One request please, and this is mainly directed at the guys who want the Heat to lose. if you are going to show up and talk ish after a loss, don't get ghost when they suddenly win a game or series. A lot of you seem to hide then.

If they lose or mess up blast away, but don't pull a goodbug and have something to say then but not when the opposite happens.

he did the same crap in game 3 vs the celtics. his J wasn't on so he was very hesitant w/ his moves yesterday. a passive lebron is not very good. both wade and lebron didn't take more than 4 shots each in the 2nd half of last night.

both bron/wade stunk it up then and they got blown out by 16 vs the celtics then.

the heat go as lebron/wade go. both of them cannot struggle at the same time. and if that happens, the heat have NO CHANCE against most teams, let alone the bulls.

exactly. i rarely see most of these guys posts all playoffs and they come out of nowhere when the heat lose.

but it's great to see the heat lose like this, the same way they got blown out in boston. the heat are frontrunners and they tend to get lax when everything tends to go well. this will put them in their place and make them have that "us against the world" attitude. everyone is picking the bulls to win now.

and wade apparently was still sleeping at the hotel.

I thought pulling a goodbug was making $100 in bets and then welching on them?

I have a suggestion for you guys that are Heat fans: Don't feel obligated to try and balance the discussion here by counter-pointing the Heat "haters". It makes you come off just as imbalanced and silly. There are more people here that want them to lose. Nothing you can do about it. If these folks disappear when the Heat win and throw it back at you when they lose, so be it. Don't waste your breath calling them out. When people decide to "hate", it's over. By constantly defending and making (some very lame) excuses for LeBron & Co, you just make yourself targets of ridicule. But maybe that's what you want.

Agreed. And the excuses are stupid anyway. If LBJ and/or Wade were injured, that'd be one thing, but partying? Come on. These guys were ready and the Bulls just blitzed them. It happens. This will be a good, long, series.

As bad of a thumping as that was, I can't see this series going any less than 6 games.
