I really hope your Griz survive the new CBA repercussions and continue to take advantage of the West's old guard aging into oblivion, because you and your fellow Griz fans couldn't have been more obnoxious the past month - the very epitome of why the phrase "act like you've been there before" was first coined. Egging on this fanbase is going to stick with you for a long while.

Or do you really need to be reminded that your franchise was previously 0-for-15 years in the playoffs?

Good for you guys (I mean that sincerely, it would kill me if the Texans take that long for a playoff win)....now take your house money and cash out.

    Repped...

Also, am I the only one that feels like they got lucky with the house money this post season... just not confident they will be anything more than a 45 win team next year.

You're probably the only one. Well you and the other haters.

It's actually the thunder who survived with their lives in this series, not the grizzlies.

But I'm cool. I feel confident. We got a lottery pick in Henry, and a allstar in Gay both coming back. Not to mention the free agents we are likely to sign.

If i were you, and you are a rockets fan, I wouldn't cry for the grizzlies. You should just focus on getting the rockets competitive again.

Trust me, we grizzlies fans are going to be fine.

    What,

I bet that triple OT hurts now? You guys were > < this close from making history.

Now the excuses will be "If Rudy was healthy...." we shall see next year how Rudy comes back from a serious knee injury and gets integrated to the team. However, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets traded before the season to save money, don't you remember your team almost trade OJ Mayo for "crap" space?

Your franchise had a great run which definitely put you on the map, but we all knew your team wouldn't win the title including yourself.

I have all the faith in the world that the Rockets will be competing for a title each and every year. The Memphis Grizzlies will always be the Colorado Rockies of the NBA. A group of young/upcoming players, a farm system for other teams, and viewed as a non-contender organization.

You never know. We took the Lakers to game 7 in a more impressive effort not long ago. With Zbo and Rudy Gay being your franchise players, you shouldn't feel that confident.

Awww. There's no better way to look like a 12 year old living in 2003: bring out the "haters" line when you have no real argument for criticism. LOL.

Yeah, great basketball mind there. When it comes to the grizz, when ace speaks, he speaks truth.

Zbo and Gay are not franchise players, they are just paid like it. We have seen this act before from the Clippers and Warriors...

What, you make it seem like its you vs the world on this forum. Your grizzlies finally had some success and now you are annoying a lot of us. You said the Rockets haven't gotten out of the1st round in almost 20 years, but it took "your" franchise almost that long just to win a playoff game.

Last time I checked this was a Rockets fan forum, but fans of other teams are more than welcome to post here. But you're definitely trying too hard to make the grizz seem like instant contenders from here on out.

Also, kobe doesn't want to go to Memphis (I saw that fake article you posted), and the Lakers won't trade anyone on their roster for Rudy Gay.

I would not trade Kevin Martin for Rudy Gay. Lowry, Millier, and Patterson is asking for too much.

They'd think about Odom for Gay. Especially with that contract in tow, I wouldn't take him if Martin or Lowry were involved.

Rockets were a Barkley failed defensive close out on Stockton from making the Finals in '97 and then the more recent second round run, both less than 16 years ago (Grizzlies existence).

But yes, this is the equivalent of the Royals coming a couple wins short of the AL pennant and their fans running their mouths all over the place.

Post on here with even a pinch of humility and class, and people would probably be on board rooting for Memphis.

Oh, that's right. The Grizzlies were one of 12 teams who had a fun ride this year that ultimately lead to a fishing trip. Happens every year, although people who are new to this think it's leading to multiple titles in the near future. Just ask the Warrior fans how much fun they're having polishing their trophies.

I've been an nba basketball fan and general sports fan probably longer than you've been alive.

I go all the way back to Luv Ya Blue, over 30 years. So, yeah, I know heartbreak.

Tell me what the warriors had in common with the grizzlies, basketball-wise.

Luv Ya Blue? Wow! You'd think someone your age would be smarter.

And btw, you don't know REAL Oiler heartbreak until you suffer through a QB choice of Pete Beathard or Don Trull and a 1-13 season or two.

Did you see Calvin and Rudy play live in person? I did. Elvin, too.

They both, in recent years, were a #8 seed who took down a #1 seed in the first round, then lost in the second round. And in both cases their strong playoff showing had their fans bragging about how they were THIS close to winning a title. Except the Grizzlies fans are particularly obnoxious. You won't have this same team next year -- the franchise can't afford it. You might make the playoffs again, but you won't get very far.
