Congrats to the grizzlies for the successful season. Many firsts for this franchise.

As for the game, why did they keep having Shane add pressure to the guy up top leaving KD wide open to cut to the hoop for so many dunks?

Congrats to the Thunder. Hope they beat the Mavs.

Yeah we took them to the brink.

It's hard to win when you don't have HCA, but 1 shot or so in game 4 and they would have lost to us for sure.

If I were the grizzlies it would just fan the flames.

you know it's bad when people who aren't even grizzlies fans complain about the officiating.

Lionel had to be restrained. They swallowed their whistle and said either make it being hacked or don't complain to me.

It was so clear how bad the officiating was and this is why the nba is nothing more than the wwe.

Immediately after game 7 isn't the best time to have a debate on this. I'll say just one thing: Consider next season the Thunder will improve without making any moves at all. 5 of their key rotation players are 22 or younger and Perkins will finally be healthy. If they meet in the playoffs next year, it could be a lot different than you think.

Let's just hope we have a full season (or any season) with intact playoffs. Because of the emerging teams in these playoffs (OKC, Bulls, Pacers, Grizzlies), the decline of the Celts and Spurs along with my opinion the Lakers are past their shelf-life, I am really pumped about next season. For me, this will be the longest offseason to endure no matter how the labor talks progress.

I didn't have a rooting interesting, but I agree that it seemed biased. It's rare to see playoffs-style calls (no calls) on one end, with regular season style calls on the other end, so consistently. I don't really believe in conspiracies (it just assumes too much competence on the part of conspirators) but that did not look good today.

The thunder, no matter how much they improve, aren't bringing back a 20 point, near allstar scorer.

I don't understand it either. It put Battier out of position every single time and their bigs weren't rotating to cover Durant. And OKC ran that play a lot. That's a head scratcher for Memphis' defensive scheme.

Serious (very early) question: Where do you rank the Grizzlies for next season?
