I drove by the Allen location over the weekend on Saturday. They had a big line of people wrapping around outside and a big line of cars. We ate at Hutchins BBQ in McKinney and drove by on the way back. We got a good laugh out of it. You would almost think it was the only restaraunt in town or something. People GOTTA have it. I think I saw Spike Lee out there shooting a film about it. ;)

In N Out >>>>>>> Whataburger's floppy flat "fresh" greasy burgers..

But yeah, there are far better burger joints than In N Out. For the price, In N Out is SOLID.

    From http://houston.culturemap.com/newsd...in-texas-will-houston-ever-get-in-on-the-fun/ :

The company is building a second processing center in Dallas, but In-N-Out vice president of planning and development Carl Van Fleet says growth in North Texas will keep them “plenty busy for the next several years.”

Luckily for Houston hopefuls, Van Fleet hasn't written off the Houston market altogether. Houston, as well as Austin and San Antonio, is a target for "future growth," although based on Van Fleet's description we aren't holding our breath.

"At this time, we are focusing specifically on the Dallas/Fort Worth market as there are many exciting opportunities there,” he says.

Next time you can hold off on the animal style and ask for grilled onions. Less lettuce, tomatoes and pickles and no secret sauce. I think the cheese makes it greasier than it is. It's fun to experiment because the people there are cool with it.... You can even get a neapolitan shake. I usually get 2 animal style burgers instead of a double double.

I would ask for them to toast the buns. It really makes a difference.

Stupid In-N-Out not being in the east coast, I've been craving a double double grilled onion for almost a year. Everytime I go to LA or Phoenix I HAVE TO HAVE IT.
