Now Freak, you need to give "Microcastle" by Deerhunter a try. Yes, they may not be what you are looking for as they are more indie - but listen to this song and tell me that this isn't rock and roll: <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/T1JHdSBibO8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
microcastle really is a pretty incredible album. anyways.... listening to some 2000 widespread panic but had this gem on earlier: absolutely fantastic.
Lee "Scratch" Perry - Rise Again Tom Waits - Foreign Affairs Pere Ubu - Worlds in Collision The Scratch album just came out and features Bill Laswell on production and many guest appearances including Tunde Adempe from TV on the Radio, Bernie Worrell, this Ethiopian singer (name escapes me), Sly Dunbar (I think) and many others. Although he is 75, Scratch is still going strong - you like reggae and dub music and just plain weirdness - then you'll like this album.
Nothing above 4 stars for DH on AMG Ramirez, I'm disappointed in you! I did listen to the song since you asked me to, and I think you might be right that they "may not be what I'm looking for". Seriously, not bad but I would need some time to digest it. Back to the subject of Rock-n-roll, I've been listening to the new Cars album and this song in particular. Be sure to get the Best Buy version as it contains 3 extra songs. Spoiler <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/a2w6-xAu0lg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Haha, I had forgotten about the AMG and how they rated albums. Yea, I still don't get their rating system. They would have a reviewer going on and on about an album and finish the review by saying, "You have to have this album" but then the actual rating was 3 stars out of 5?? It was like WTF??
Anybody listened to Chrishan new album would recommend any songs from it heard five but their average to a bit good

Sonic Youth - Sister Sun Ra - Soundtrack to the Film Space Is the Place I have really gotten into Sun Ra in the last year or so (the soundtrack to Space Is the Place makes my 9th album by him) and this latest one is the most manic and bizarre one yet.
