I don't see anything wrong with that. He was a free agent and went to a team that he thought would give him the chance to win. Even if it meant making less money (eventually he got a sign and trade which got him more money).

I dont think the money was the problem.... He makes 10 times more in endorsements....I dont see nothin wrong with it either.....How many of you would want an opportunity to 1)make tons of money 2)make tons of money doing 1/3 the work as before 3) make tons of money while making history 4) make tons of money from South Beach.......sign me up !!!!

The S&T actually didnt get LeBron more money. It just gave Cleveland a HUGE Trade Exception that they used in part to cover the trade for Baron Davis contract.

Well there you go... it further proves that it wasn't about the money, he just wants to win championships.

remember when everyone jumped on marbury because he didn't want to be second fiddle to garnett and jumped ship, now everyone's jumping on lebron for the exact opposite

Which Celtics shook his hand? No double-standard here at all.

    Marbury < Garnett in Minny
    LeBron >>>>> everbody in Cleveland

    Apple and orange

Nobody except Marbury himself thought he could lead any team to championship. LeBron, on the other hand...

Yeah I saw all 3 of them do it.

I was definitely wondering if LeBron and Delonte would embrace.

How do so many topics devolve into a discussion over Lebron drama?! I'm not a Lebron-hater by any means, but I sure hope he doesn't do anything newsworthy this summer, lest half of NBA fans start another annoying cycle of villanizing the guy.

Anyway, back on topic, that list of NBA Finals mainstays can roughly be broken down by decade:

    1980-1990 Magic, Bird, Isaiah
    1991-1998 Jordan, Hakeem
    1999-2010 Kobe, Shaq, Duncan

Following this trend, let's say another three players will emerge as perennial Finals contenders. Guesses?

    2011-2020 _ ??? _, _ ??? _, _ ??? _

    Spurs and Celtics are done!

But i don't think you can write Lakers off.
Their all-stars lineups of Kobe/Gasol/Bynum/Odom are still a great team. They can still contend for next 1-2 years with the right matchups.

Alright fine, here's the Big Shot Rob/Fresh Prince version:

Every NBA Finals from 1991-2005 included Robert Horry, Horace Grant, or Steve Kerr.

    (I think)
