I was mistaken for someone who works at a funeral home while I was at one attending a funeral a few months back.

Have you considered just getting a job at Home Depot? Maybe God is trying to tell you something.

It's happened to me a few times. And, I'm white if that comforts you somehow. And, I was probably not wearing khakis or a polo shirt either, since I don't dress like that.

I wore a suit at a Wal-Mart or Target once and some lady thought I was the manager.

This has never happened to me. Most of the people at my actual work have no idea I'm employed there. I work very hard to preserve this. I'm white if that makes any difference.

I used to work at a Marshalls, and what always annoyed me was when people would ask if i worked there when I was clearly putting stuff out and wearing my name tag. And also had an earpiece and walkie talkie that all the employees had.

    "ummm.... do you work here???"

No!! im only impersonating a Marshalls employee by wearing this name tag!

I was shopping at Brooks Brothers after work one day and someone asked if I worked there. My response was "No, but if I did, they probably wouldn't appreciate the fact that my suit came from Joseph A Banks."
