In the real world.. petty little things like not taking a coaching job with good talent to work with for good money on principle because you might upset some bitter fans don't happen. You snatch up opportunity and say screw the fairweather fans and armchair critics. Artest made the correct decision as well. Get over yourself.

Personally, I'd love to see Adelman go to the Magic if Stan van Gundy gets dropped. I really think he's the guy to take that talented but disfunctional group of offensive wings/guards and make them mesh with Howard.

I'd rather see that than watch him try to squeeze out one final championship from a Lakers team on the decline. Though he'd probably do a fine job there, as well.

Its not like none of us didn't see this coming once we found out he wouldn't be returning to.us. f@*k you LA Fakers and were dumb for letting him go. he was a goos coach with good success considering what he had to work with. Injuries and etc. As much as I hate to see one of our former coaches go there to coach AGAIN once Phil Jackson left AGAIN. Just tells you we got goos quality coaches if a team wants to replace Phil with them. I think he probably will take it even though I hope not because ill have to dislike him as long he there coach since I hate the dirty fakers and Kobe. Maybe new coach means they won't play as dirty anymore!? Hahaha...

Odom's career would reach another level. He'd probably have to start, even if they don't trade Bynum or Gasol.

    during that run,The Queens were that rare team that had the talent to beat the Lakers; despite that talents they habitually choked against the Lakers in the playoff. it is that choker-man influence;
    • when a talent-rich veteran team chokes that often, it is the coaching.
replace idleman with any avg NBA coach, the Queens would have choked less often in the playoff.
replace the choke-inducing Idleman with an avg NBA coach, w the Queens choking less often---they would have won one series against the Lakers.

thank you for corroborating with my assertion that the Queens choked against the Lakers

when you put that choking incident, on top of many such choking incidents (even in that series), connect the dots, it is idleman's influence on the team

That Kings team was more talented than the Kobe/Shaq Lakers? That statement alone lost you all your credibility. Pretty much anybody else coaching that team, doubt that they even sniff contender status.

CWebb, Peja, Bibby- those guys were not as good (nowhere near) before playing in the Adelman system.

I don't know why I even bother talking to you adoo, you are clearly a ****ing idiot who knows absolutely nothing about basketball.

You call this a debate? You are spewing stupid **** and I am calling you out for it.

I only debate with intelligent people capable of making actual points. Not going to waste my time on you.

You are not even making sense. "Idleman," "choker," "Idleman," "choker."

I don't think highly of you. I consider you to be braindead to be honest.

HOW IS IT ADELMAN'S FAULT THAT HIS PLAYERS CHOKE? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? MOST OF THOSE TEAMS ADELMAN HAD WOULD NOT HAVE EVEN BEEN CLOSE TO WHERE THEY WERE WITHOUT HIM COACHING THEM.

So you admit that the Kings were a less talented team? Doesn't that make Adelman look better as a coach?

And you admit that the best players on that Kings team (Webber, Peja, Bibby) never had seasons like that prior to playing for Adelman? Wouldn't them playing on worse teams make their stats look better if they were great players?

    Its the system, stupid.
