Sounds like he's saying Mcnabb wasnt black enough to play with the receiver who was black enough, but he's still a good person. I dont get why it's even a topic with a boxer though. Maybe he's friends with TO and vick.
Everybody Hates Donovan. Why? First, it was Eagles fan, then Rush Limbaugh. Followed by TO; an NAACP president at the Philadelphia chapter. Just this past year, his own coach and offensive coordinator. Now, a washed up boxer. How does such a mild-mannered guy attract so much attention?
<iframe width="560" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/znQe9nUKzvQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> House Negro? Interesting to see ignorant people stomp on ebonics, like it is any less sophisticated than proper English.
Could have been worse. He could have brought his wife into it. Spoiler Hey, Woman. Hey, Woman! Listen here. Since your old man ain't got no heart, maybe you like to see a real man. I bet you stay up late every night dreamin' you had a real man, don't ya? I'll tell you what. Bring your pretty little self over to my apartment tonight, and I'll show you a real man. Spoiler
I get the feeling this will end up in D & D. Stupid thing for Hopkins to say and not just the racial part. McNabb has played injured so many times that nobody should question his toughness.
what an idiot. He thought he was one of 'them'. Do white players not get traded? Another moron trying to bring race into something irrelevant. Just like lebron this summer. He made a douchebag move and if he was white, brown, red, he would've made a douchebag move. the front office of the eagles weren't thinking we can trade him, hes black, i don't think color was discussed as much as age, talent, direction of franchise, and potential.
NSFW House vs Field? Nah, Chris Rock said it best. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwejDybX8oA&feature=related
Yeah, a lot of people forget about that. Like so many others in this thread, I've never understood the hate for McNabb by others. Maybe there is something behind the scenes we're not seeing but I haven't seen anything that tells me he is a bad guy.
I've never understood it either. I admit though I am biased as I like McNabb but it seems like he is getting a lot of personal blame for the failings of the Eagles and Redskins as teams and for coaching decisions.
Sounds like Bernard's defense is slipping and he may be taking more shots to the head than he realizes.
