It will obviously be longer, because of the lockout.

Also, DM tends to pick lowly-regarded players, so we can't get excited until they prove us wrong 6-12 months later. So, we get a little excitement out of the draft, then some out of the Summer League.

The only way we can get excited is if they trade up in the draft, or get a decent-looking center at #14.. or we get one of the top 3 picks!

The Las Vegas summer league has already been canceled.

Yes....missing the playoffs again, no clear direction for the team, a potential lockout. This will be a long one

It'd be a long wait if we won it all or got high up.

Or even had a chance to win the draft lotto.

Mediocre Rockets are outta sight, outta mind.

Les has chosen to amuse us with drama and intrique instead of championships. One thing I can assure you, there will be change and lots of it. The outcomes, however, will remain pretty much the same. Think of the Rockets as a soap opera, the more things change, the more they remain the same. Our owner is the real problem and until we get new leadership at the top, what the Rockets have been they will continue to be.

Just because someone is rich doesn't mean they can't be a quirky goofball.

agree. and the Rockets shouldn't commit themselves to anything long term, including head coach, until the new agreement.

not really. there will be tons of rockets news this offseason. but nothing will come out much until the CBA is resolved.

this offseason will really tell which direction morey is taking
