I know you're a Memphis fan, and probably don't like hearing something like that right now, so I won't argue with you.

I agree with you about Rudy Gay, he would have done wonders for Memphis last game. He could have carried the offense while Randolph was getting a little gassed and Memphis probably would have won the last game.

You guys still have a great team with a very good future, and aren't out of it yet. The still can pull this out with a good win (and the momentum it helps carry into game 7) next game.

Obviously every team has a chance. KD laughing over there was not cool. Yeah KD you were one shot away from being down 3-1. Keep laughing homeboy.

You questioned the amount of fight OKC had in them after game 1. It might be a good idea to avoid making such a statement. But it's understandable your emotions are strong right now. I have no doubt the home crowd on Friday will breathe fire and brimstone on the Thunder and it should be fun. It will be a lot more interesting to watch than tonight's slop.

I'm not going to play the IF game, but I'll just say that next year when Rudy is playing I like our chances against this team. Right now KD doesn't have to play defense.

well, you also have to take into account westbrook's and durant's growth this offseason. these 2 guys will get better.

and i'm sure memphis will get better.

it's hard to predict next year. let's see what happens in game 6. hopefully it'll be a much better game for the fans than what it was tonight.

This series KD has more talent than the grizzlies, so that's a problem and they can shut down Randolph because they don't fear any of our other players.

That's fine. Wait till next year when they have to play Rudy Gay, let's see if they are laughing then.

are you telling me that Physical conditions are not a part of basketball while all its players are basically athletes

are you telling me that OKC didn't play as much time as memphis and didn't have to take a plan to get back to oklahoma?

up to this point, OKC is better, they are not even.

let's see what will happen in game six,

also a quick reminder, gay may not be on your team next year after you handed out the big contract to Zach, you think gasol wouldn't ask for more money....

just trying to remind you, when you are looking for excuses for a loss, that usually proves even more that you are a loser.....

BTW, Lowry is better than conley, this guy is just a solid PG, lowry will be a star...

That doesn't mean anything. Right now OKC is in the drivers seat and that is all that matters.

You are not reminding me of anything. In case you didn't know, Rudy Gay signed a 5 year deal with the grizzlies, so your theory is typical of a person who only reads Sam Smith articles and takes them as FACT.

And how is calling you Sam Smith or saying wait till next year with Rudy Gay making excuses?

I think you need better reading comprehension skills. Nothing I've said in this thread has made an excuse for losing this game.

Oh Yeah like you don't gloat the hell out of this board when your team wins.

Chuck Hayes will be on your team soon right?

what, I don't blame you for being punchy - the highs and lows of your team being in the playoffs can be rough.

Just bear in mind, you did put a bullseye on your back this past month. Comes with the territory. If McGrady regained his form in Detroit, tinman would be absorbing all worlds of taunting. Kobe going out like a chump means TheGreat/goodbug are facing all kinds of shin-kicking. The leading LeBron detractors like Toycen and RocketsPride are having to deal with last night.

If you talk loudly, it can become painful later on. I'm not flaming when I say that.

And I know you don't like it, but in a rout, the winners are probably going to be in a good mood and laugh.

If the Grizzlies maintain their core and Randolph continues to be a team playing low post animal, you're definitely looking good as the old guard ages away. A few things that may affect things:
You mentioned Gay, but it's been Battier/Allen's D that's been so important in your wins. Last night was the first in the series were the Griz didn't top 100....so is Gay really the difference on the whole? I can't see him giving Durant any issues on the other side.
I've said it for awhile, but the impending threat of a hard cap could affect Memphis going forward. If there's a hard cap set around $65M, Memphis will have to pray Gasol is okay with a hometown discount (8 players already committed to $53M). No more Bird exception. They could get a huge break if the hard cap is higher ($70M) or they can participate in an Allan Houston rule return (possibly dumping Gay's mega deal)
