and i don't think rose can shoot 45% in a 7 game series in the playoffs vs a great defensive team at this stage.

could be due to the bulls being exposed, him still lacking a consistent jumper or whatever. i've seen this from far way in the 2nd half of the season.

even if he does, i still don't think they can beat the heat. you need depth to beat this heat team, who by the way haven't even played its best ball.

lebron's jumpshot has been MIA also for the most part in this playoffs as he is only shooting 47% (52% for the year).

the only team left who can possibly beat the celtics are the mavericks or OKC. one team has a superstar with great depth and defense, while the others have superstars to match up vs the heat.

He's probably far-fetched with that comment but let's just say if Miami wins the title this year then there will be a lot of posters eating some serious crow.

I definitely think there were/are a legion of folks that didn't WANT to see the Heat succeed.

Myself, I just want to see good basketball. And what they did is pretty unique in NBA history and I want to appreciate that.

The people that said the Heat werent gonna make the playoffs or be a contender were just saying something just to say it....Any "real" person knew damn well they were instant contenders the moment James made the decision... You dont even have to know basketball to see that happening instantly... There are no Heat bandwagoners because these folks knew this the whole time...Just wanna be different and ruffle a few folks feathers....At least thats why I said it anyway...

Dig back through the old threads and there were people literally laughing out loud about how the heat might not make the playoffs, how wade and Lebron could never play together, and how they had no chance against boston, chicago, Orlando even IF they made the playoffs. It wasn't just one or two posters, it was 40-50 posters saying this.

This proof is here on the bbs if someone wants to do the research.

Don't jump off the deep end and drown. It was a few delusional guys who posted a nauseating number of times. Since you bring it up, why don't you do the research?

i guess spoelstra doesn't believe in timeouts. the heat don't come out fired up and come out sloppy and he waits until the tv timeout after 6 minutes. lebron 0-2 with 2 TO's (that lob to anthony was one of the worst passes i've ever seen him throw) and couldn't even finish an open layup after a love tap from pierce.

wade is showing up so far, though.

if anthony wasn't getting straight worked by kg i might feel better.

Calm down, Kevin Harlan, I've seen a lot more impressive moves from D-Wade.

    Still, sickness.

the heat offense has been pretty damn awful to mediocre for most of the playoffs. they better pick it up if they want to win it all this year.

this quarter looked pathetic. lebron looked pathetic.

the heat offense is beyond awful right now.

and those injured fingers are really bothering mike. we won't see his impact till next year.
