smh.. classic bullets uni. kinds eases the sting of the name change.. just another NBA franchise smartening up and going back to their classic unis.. 6er's & Jazz most recently made the switch.. hopefully someone in the rockets organization will get a clue that we all want..
These new unis seem like a way for the Wizards to hedge. They shouldn't have change their name, their logo and script on their name have been ridiculous, and this is a way for the franchise to get back to their roots without admitting they were wrong to begin with.
I do not like it because. Another team goes Blue and Red. Over saturated with Blue jerseys or Red ones.
Washington Bullets never really featured an actual BULLET on their logo. BALTIMORE Bullets did, not Washington. They can easily call themselves the Bullets after bullet TRAINS. (Though that'd be a weak mascot to want to be) I like the unis. Now take notes on this, HOUSTON ownership.
Perhaps so, when you look at all the team colors BUT it would make the MOST sense for the nation's CAPITAL to have the red-white-blue colors over the other teams. (And the Clippers aren't a real team)
If the Rockets come back with red & yellow McDonald's unis, I'm gonna puke. Bring back the general font and style, but please, for all that is holy, don't go back to 80's red & yellow pimp colors.
I hate our glossy jerseys with giant armholes and no thick edges. It looks like we are wearing wrapping paper or a nice trash bag with holes in it. Those new Wash jerseys are actually not that bad.
nothing wrong with a minimal yellow to accent the red and pay homage to the classic unis. our alternates overdid the yellow.. and we will forever complain about the jersey cut, notice how Pat & Dragic used to fold the sleeves over to make it smaller..
Phenomenal job all around. Great colors, GREAT logos (besides the Wizard, although isn't this exactly what Atlanta did a couple of years ago by "keeping" the primary logo?). Best redesign since Detroit went back to their original colors (I've also grown to love the New Orleans look...it just fits the town perfectly). New Jersey, you're on the clock...
I think their jerseys and alternate logos look fantastic, but their Wizard logo looks hideous. They should just scrap that and use a modified version of the alternates... or something else, I don't really know. New Orleans looks great, I like how they made it more New Orleanian and less generic... I really don't like the change Atlanta and Milwaukee did a few years back... looks like they adapted the font from our ugly dildo logo And I actually really like the jersey the Nets have had since the 90's! But that might be because I lived in NJ during the Nets' good years. And it's certainly better than this hideous thing:
