Mavs fans loved all 63 minutes of this game and wished there were more.

Conditioning might be a key factor next game. This will be tough to recover from especially for KD, WB, Z-Bo and Gasol.

The Grizzlies may still win it,but it was great to see the Thunder coming back from a tough position to win tonight. It wasn't just their younger legs, they showed heart.

you're not understanding my point. lebron and MJ have totally different styles of games. COMPLETELY different.

durant and kevin martin are eerily similar offensive players in how they get their points.

EDIT: it's like saying lebron james is a taller dwayne wade.

i won't be surprised if westbrook becomes OKC's best player in a year or two. this guy has superstar written all over him if he continues to improve his jumpshot.

This will be an exhillarating series going down to game 7. Without a doubt. Both teams are stretched to their limit and a couple of bounces will decide who wins the series.

I think the Grizzlies will win, simply because they have the better coach and better execution. Thunder's offense consists of 1 on 1s amongst Westbrook and Durant. Not a way to win a series.

If Westbrook is not on any night, the Thunder will lose, bad.

It's faulty logic on his behalf.

    How tall is KD?

    6-9 with a ridiculous wingspan.

Is Kevin Martin going to magically have all of KD's ridiculous ball handling skills and isolation skills if he was taller?

No ****, I'm pointing out faulty logic.

That's like saying Michael Jordan is a taller Allen Iverson. And if Iverson is taller he would be exactly like MJ.

Nick Collison deserves a lot of credit for how he is guarding Randolph.

They're not as similar as you make it out to be.

KD is 6 ft 9. His ability to play like a guard is not something that just "happens" if you're taller.

idk why you're taking this as i'm dissing kevin durant. do you not know how good kevin martin is? a taller kevin martin is a better version basically and that's scary good.

all i'm saying is they are very similar in how they score their points. obviously KD has physical gifts, but i'm talking about the way they score points throughout the course of a game.

Durant is a better version of Kevin Martin. I don't see how anyone can watch them and not see that their games are very similar.

Indeed. Both Collison and Ibaka seem to have a read on guarding Z-Bo on isolations. He's getting a lot of his points on putbacks and re-posts.

But when it got to OT, Z-Bo was a dead man walking and wasn't that hard to guard.

Well by that logic, isn't LeBron just a better version of me? I can rebound and score a little too in my league.

They both score points by scoring and drawing fouls. That's the only similarity between their game. K Mart is much better at getting open, because he is obviously faster, and that's how K Mart gets most of his points.

KD on the other hand is able to get the ball and drive right past his defender or shoot right over them on isolation.

They also have more offensive depth and size with Gasol,Randolph. OKC lacks a low post scorer.

I've never seen K. Mart close out the game like Durant just did there though. Yes, they both make a lot of jumpshots and live off the FT line, but Durant is better at creating his own shot as proven by tonight's game and the team USA games.

oops, I completely took it out of context. Didn't read the quoted posts.

But yeah, anyone saying KD is just a better version of K-Mart is insane. By that logic KD might as well be a better version of Anthony Morrow.

    Agreed.

KD and Kevin Martin are also similar in a fairly unique way... they are both primarily jump shooters who manages to get to the line at a ridiculous rate. Unlike say guards like Reggie Miller/Ray Allen/ or forwards like Glen Rice/Dale Ellis etc.
